Good evening.
Welcome to this meditation.
I bet you've had quite a day,
And now it is your chance to wind down.
And welcome a new wave of gratitude to help you not only sleep better,
But wake up feeling better.
And more excited about the day ahead.
How we feel before we fall asleep can have a tremendous impact on our day,
And in most cases,
Even our week.
So let's create this new ripple effect,
This new spark of momentum that'll generate more positivity for the next few days for us.
Find yourself seated comfortably or you may lie down.
But the most important thing is that you are comfortable.
And you may gently close your eyes.
And together,
Let's take a deep breath in through the nose.
And slowly breathe out,
Relaxing a little further as you gently exhale,
Feeling your muscles relax.
Just notice.
The rhythm of your breath now.
Become aware of how your body is breathing.
How it feels.
And the sensations that accompany.
Each and every breath.
You don't have to change anything.
This is all about you.
Observing.
Your current state.
And now let's take another deep breath in through the nose.
Slowly breathe out,
Releasing even more of that tension.
And just relax your forehead.
Relax your jaw.
Relax both your shoulders.
Relax both your arms.
Relax your chest.
And your shoulder blades.
Your belly.
Relax your pelvic region.
Relax both your legs.
Both your knees.
Both your ankles.
Just relax both sets of toes and notice how it feels to surrender to this new sensation of relaxation.
Let's take one more deep breath in,
As deep as you can.
And slowly breathe out,
Surrendering even further,
Sinking even deeper into a place of greater relaxation.
Knowing.
That you are preparing yourself for.
A beautiful night of sleep.
Now let's welcome some gratitude into this practice.
Begin by thinking of something.
You're grateful for that made your day.
A little easier.
It could be a person,
It could be a tool.
It could even be something as simple as having a car to get you from A to B.
But let's bring to mind something that made your day.
A little easier today.
I'll give you about 30 to 40 seconds.
And just acknowledge how it makes you feel.
And now,
Let's think of something that has made you feel more appreciated today.
Something that you're grateful for,
That made you feel appreciated.
Again,
It could be a skill set,
It could be a person.
But whatever it is,
It is personal to you.
Nothing is too small,
Nothing is too big.
Go ahead,
I'll give you the floor.
And now think of something about this evening that you are grateful for.
Your routine.
It could be something that you ate.
Could be anything,
What is it about this evening?
That makes you feel grateful.
I'll give you a few moments and remember to feel it as you think about it.
And now let's think of something.
That you're looking forward to tomorrow,
Something that you may feel grateful for.
What is it?
What makes you feel excited about tomorrow?
And really feel what it's like.
Again,
I'll give you a few more moments.
To establish.
And explore.
And together let's take a deep breath in through the nose.
And slowly breathe out.
Feeling even more relaxed than what you did before.
Feeling at peace.
As we now.
Resides.
Some gratitude affirmations.
So you may repeat the following affirmations after me.
I am grateful.
For my body.
And all it allows me to do.
I am grateful to the universe.
For manifesting the amazing experiences.
I ask for.
I am grateful.
The abundance all around me.
I am grateful for my home.
My family.
My friends.
At my health.
I honor my body.
By giving it a good night of rest.
I appreciate all the good things.
That happened today.
I am grateful for the opportunities.
Tomorrow will bring.
I am grateful for my blessed life.
Let's take one last.
Deep breath in through the nose.
Slowly breathe out,
Relaxing even further,
Feeling so much more relaxed and appreciative of what you have.
Having been reminded there is so much in your life.
To be thankful for.
End.
The universe has so much more to offer you.
So I want to thank you for being here with me.
Sharing a time.
In this meditation.
And I want to wish you a peaceful day.
And happy good nights.
From my heart to yours.
Sweet dreams.
