Welcome.
And thank you for being here.
Find a position that feels comfortable.
Ensure that your back is upright.
And.
.
.
Gently.
Close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in through the nose as deep as you can.
Slowly breathe out.
Before we begin,
Let me just say that there's more to confidence than just talking and repeating.
Asserting confidence is something.
That you feel.
Deep within you.
In your chest,
In your spine,
In your shoulders.
And that means it is something we can build together.
In these next few minutes by simply recalling those feelings and reigniting these senses.
Then begin by noticing how you feel today.
Become aware of the energy in your body.
And notice your breath.
Because the breath is where the body tells the truth.
Take a deep breath in through the nose.
Slowly breathe out.
Again,
Another deep breath in,
As deep as you can.
And slowly exhale.
Relaxing your muscles.
Just notice how it feels when you breathe the natural sensations of the breath.
As the air flows in and out of your body.
Where do you feel the breath?
Most distinctly.
Can you feel it?
Running through your nostrils as you breathe in and out.
Perhaps as your chest expands and contracts.
Or as your belly inflates.
And day flights.
Just notice how it feels when you breathe with no judgement.
Exploring the movements.
You don't need to change anything.
Just notice.
And if thoughts arise,
That is perfectly normal.
All you have to do is become aware of those thoughts.
And then gently.
Go back.
To your brain.
And one more deep breath in as deep as you can.
Slowly breathe out,
Letting go of some more of that tension.
Bring your attention to your chest.
For a lot of us,
Self-doubt doesn't live in our thoughts first,
It actually lives here in our body.
A tightness.
A different posture,
A bracing like you've been protecting something.
And if you do notice that,
It's okay.
It's just how your body has learned to protect itself.
I move your attention to your spine.
Notice the length of your spine from the base all the way through the back of your neck.
And without forcing it,
Let your spine.
.
.
Lengthen slightly.
Like there's a soft thread.
At the crown of your head.
Lifting you gently upward.
Notice what happens in your chest when your spine lengthens.
How does it feel?
Often without any effort at all.
It tends to open.
And this is the first thing to know about confidence.
It actually has.
A physical shape.
And you can find that shape.
Right now.
Just buy.
How you hold yourself.
Now I'd like you to think of a moment.
Just one.
When he did something.
Well.
Could have been a moment you handled something difficult with.
More steadiness than you expected.
Maybe it was a moment someone needed you.
And you showed up.
It could be something small,
It could be something big.
Just see if you can recollect this moment.
Let it come to you,
And if nothing comes right away,
That's okay.
To stay there with the invitation.
I'll give you a few moments for that.
Once you have it,
Don't just think about it.
Feel.
What it's like.
To recall.
This experience.
Where were you?
What did the air feel like?
What did your body eat?
Feel like.
Right after.
Did you feel it in your chest?
Your hands,
Your face.
Stay there for a moment.
And focus on the feeling.
Let's take a deep breath in.
And slow breath out.
Remember confidence isn't manufactured.
It is summoned.
By remembering your worth.
Your body has already done what you needed to do before.
It already knows how.
So you're not really reinventing your own wheel,
You're not thinking of something new,
You're just recovering.
Something.
That is already yours.
Let that feeling of worth sit in your chest for a few more breaths.
Notice the sensations of your breath.
Now gently bring one hand to rest on your chest.
Feel the sensation of your hand resting on your chest.
And underneath your hand you can feel your heartbeat.
Say to yourself.
I have done.
Hard things before,
And I'm very capable.
You don't have to convince yourself of anything.
All you're doing is naming something that is true.
You can say it again if it helps.
I have done hard things before.
I can trust myself.
And this will be your anchor.
And you can return to it.
Anytime.
Whenever you need to.
Notice your breath,
Keep focusing on the rhythm of your breath.
You may rest your hand now.
Let's take another deep breath in.
Slowly breathe out.
And remember that this steadiness you just felt.
Is part of you.
Underneath all the noise and doubt.
It's inside of you.
Today was not about creating confidence out of nothing.
It's about making space.
For what's already there.
You are allowed to trust yourself.
Because.
You have proven more than once.
That you can meet what is in front of you.
Let's take one more full breath in.
And let it go.
When you're ready you can gently bring movement back into your fingers and toes.
And let your eyes open.
Whenever they're ready.
Carry this with you knowing that you have so much about yourself to be grateful for.
You have done so much until now.
And you will keep.
Things.
For yourself.
And for your mission.
From my heart to yours.
Much Love!
