Hi friends,
Alright so it is day 8.
Day 8 I want you to take a break.
I want you to spend 5 minutes and just do a brain dump.
And if you're not familiar with what a brain dump is,
I want you to take these 5 minutes and list.
Bullet list,
Throw it all over the page,
However you want to do it.
I just want you to jot down words,
Emotions,
Feelings,
Anything that comes to mind,
Anything that might be weighing you down,
Bothering you,
Stressing you out,
Anything that makes you happy,
Whatever comes to your mind,
I want you to put it on paper.
I want you to brain dump.
And I love this exercise,
I do this all the time because my brain has so much going on all the time.
And it's important to create clarity,
Mental clarity for us to continue to move throughout life.
So,
All this week and last week,
As you can hear still in my voice,
My daughters were sick,
My husband,
I have not been feeling my best.
But mental clarity,
When you just kind of can get everything out,
Even when it's foggy,
Even when you aren't feeling your best,
Just getting it on paper is super helpful.
So in the next slide screen,
Whatever you want to call it,
You'll see the benefits of gratitude,
The benefits of doing brain dumps,
How it creates just a sense of peace and weight lift off of you.
And then after you do that brain dump,
Write a quick sentence or two about how it feels now to get all of that out of you and on paper.
Don't make it a to-do list,
Don't make it a,
I gotta get this done,
Don't do that.
Just whatever's on your mind,
Just get it out onto paper,
Take a break,
Clear your mind,
And just kind of practice gratitude.
This talk doesn't have to be about writing about gratitude,
But practice being grateful for this time to be able to just clear your mind.
It's important.
So however you want to do your brain dump,
Again,
Bullet point list,
Feelings,
Whatever comes up,
Just write about it,
Release it,
And I will see you tomorrow.
