Welcome.

Welcome to the You Are Not Your Mind transmission meditation.

Go ahead and find a comfortable seat or lie down,

Making sure your spine is nice and long.

Once in that position,

Drop into your breath.

Inhaling from the nose,

Exhaling from the nose.

Now inhale from the nose into the belly.

And as you exhale,

Exhale from the belly down through the root,

Base of the spine,

Down into the earth,

Two feet below the feet.

As you inhale in,

Pull the breath from earth,

Mother Earth,

Up through the base of the spine,

The root into the belly,

Fill the belly.

As you exhale out through the spine,

Up through the top of your head,

The crown,

Accessing,

Reaching your source of light.

That light,

At least two feet above the head,

The crown,

Inhaling from that source in through the top of the head,

The crown,

Moving through the spine,

Filling the belly,

Exhaling out from the nose,

From the belly,

Down through the root,

Through the base of the spine,

Reaching deep into Mother Earth.

Pulling up from Mother Earth into the belly,

Exhale out through the spine,

Through the crown,

Accessing once again your source of light.

Have the breath continuing to flow in and out of the nose in that pattern.

Have that breath pattern running in the background.

Exhaling and exhaling,

Belly breaths in and out through the nose.

Now I want you to have an experience of the mind.

To bring forth those thoughts that might be running or not.

Now place those thoughts out in front of you as if they're a magnetic light-filled billboard streaming through the board as just thoughts and pictures or whatever's there would like a movie.

That billboard,

That screen,

Just be present to any thoughts.

Have those thoughts running through the billboard,

The screen in front of you.

Exhaling and exhaling in the background.

Now now take your attention back to the breath and create a gap,

Create space between the billboard,

The screen of thoughts and potential pictures in front of you.

Create a space between that and you by dropping more deeply into the breath,

Inhaling from your light source in through the nose,

Fill your belly.

Exhale from the belly out through the root into Mother Earth,

Back up through Mother Earth into the belly,

Filling the belly.

And exhale through the spine out up into the crown into your light source.

So just notice the breath as your point of focus.

Now be present to the gap between your breath and your thoughts in front of you on the screen on the billboard flowing through.

Notice the space between you and your breath and your thoughts.

Anything running in what we're going to call the mind out in front of you,

That billboard,

That screen.

Just be present to the gap and the space.

If you tend to thrust yourself out onto the billboard,

Onto the screen,

Onto those thoughts,

Come back through the space into your breath.

Deep breathing into the belly from the nose,

Exhaling from the nose out through the belly.

Take about five minutes just noticing if you want to get thrust out on that screen,

On that billboard of thoughts,

Or if you can stay in the breath,

In the gap between.

And be present to the breath.

Open,

Close.

Keep coming back,

Settling into the breath.

If you find yourself at all on the screen.

If you find yourself at all on the screen.

If you find yourself at all on the screen.

If you find yourself at all on the screen.

If you find yourself at all on the screen.

If you find yourself at all on the screen.

If you find yourself at all on the screen.

If you find yourself at all on the screen.

If you find yourself at all on the screen.

If you find yourself at all on the screen.

If you find yourself at all on the screen.

If you find yourself at all on the screen.

If you find yourself at all on the screen.

If you find yourself at all on the screen.

If you find yourself at all on the screen.

Had to stop after 10 minutes. Couldn’t stay focused on the breath. It was a rough weekend. Will definitely try again. I see that it can be beneficial Thanks!

Enjoyed the visualization of watching thoughts on a screen separate from my consciousness. Not always easy, but truly effective.
