Welcome to Day 12 of Insight Timer's Reset and Refresh Challenge.

Your call to break free from the ordinary,

Let go of what's been holding you back,

And step into your life with a fresh perspective.

Let's jump into today's session.

Hello everyone.

Today I'm really excited to share some thoughts about creating a spacious and mindful life.

In our fast-paced world,

Cultivating a sense of spaciousness and mindfulness is essential for our well-being.

My word for 2024 is spacious,

And I am so excited to explore what that means for me this season.

Spaciousness is about creating room in our lives,

Not just physically,

But emotionally and mentally too.

It allows us to breathe,

Reflect,

And engage more deeply with ourselves,

Our community,

And the things that are around us.

Mindfulness is a practice of being fully present,

As we all know,

Engaged in the moment,

And leaving judgment and distraction at the door.

By being mindful,

We can recognize the areas in our life where we can,

Need,

And want to create more space.

As we move through today's word,

I'd like you to think about where you want to start decluttering.

In your journal,

I would like you to create three sections,

One titled Physical Space,

One titled Mental Space,

And one titled Heart Space.

I'd like you to take about three minutes to start jotting down words,

Phrases,

Things that you want to start removing from your physical,

Mental,

And heart space.

In this writing practice,

I want us to pay attention to the small things.

A lot of us have stuff that we have been hoarding,

That we refuse to take to the trash,

That we have swept under the rug,

That we are carrying,

That needs to be released.

And so as you think about spaciousness in your life,

I want you to look at the micro things you can start with removing first.

Give yourself three minutes,

A minute each list,

And write freely.

No shame,

No guilt,

No judgment,

And no perfectionism.

As you start to bring your attention back to my voice,

Check in with how you're feeling.

What has this practice brought to your space?

How has it opened up your mental,

Your physical,

Your heart space?

Remember,

Spaciousness and mindfulness combined are not about quantity.

Instead,

They're about quality.

It's about creating room to grow and be present in our changes.

As we make space,

I invite you all to take a moment each day to consider this.

What are three things I can remove from my life to create more space?

And how can I be more present in the space that I have?

Remember,

The journey to and through spaciousness,

The journey with mindfulness,

Is lifelong.

It's ongoing and it's deeply personal.

Take small steps and be kind to yourself along the way.

I look forward to talking to you tomorrow.

We'll be tapping into our joy.

Until then,

Take good care.

Sounds like a definite plan. Declutterring is tricky. Even the charity shops are bulging here in my hometown of SE coast UK. I could open my own charity shop with a listen of collection and then downsizing my home. Anyway will take some donations today and also advertise some too. Thanks for the push although I’m constantly working on that just not fast enough. šŸ˜¬šŸ™šŸ¼ā¤ļø
