My name is Ale Garnica.
I am a mindfulness meditation teacher and a life coach and today I'm here to guide you through a practice of love towards your body.
Because of all the societal stereotypes we tend to judge and neglect our body.
We want it to be different.
We want to change it and we forget about everything our body does to keep us alive.
It's time to acknowledge and recognize the beauty of our body.
Beauty that goes beyond what we can see.
I invite you to close your eyes and bring your attention to your body.
Notice if there are any sensations in any part of your body.
Notice if there is any tension or maybe if your body feels relaxed.
We are just creating awareness.
There's no need to change anything.
Your body is perfect just the way it is right now.
And now bring your hands to that part of your body that you know needs your love.
Or if you prefer bring your hands to your heart.
My beautiful body I feel deeply grateful for everything you do every single day.
You work 24-7.
You help me move through life.
I appreciate your resilience.
After those moments when I forget how fragile you are I admire how quickly you recover and I admire all the work you do for all my organs to function properly.
You are the best gift I have ever been given.
I love you.
I care for you.
And while there have been times when I have judged you I want you to know that those are not the times.
Just lies.
Lies I've been telling myself in aim for perfection.
Lies that I will no longer use against you.
My beautiful body I am here for you in the same way you are always here for me.
