I invite you to sit or lie down in an uncomfortable place in your space,
Allowing your body to shift in any way it wants to be.
I invite you to notice two things that your eyes are drawn to and notice two things that you hear at this moment.
Notice if there's any sense of smell around you.
If you notice that your attention is wandering off,
Just notice it and bring your awareness to the present moment.
And now I invite you to place your attention to your breath.
Inviting you to take an inhale with a count of 1,
2,
3 and hold for 1,
2,
3 and exhale 1,
2,
3,
4,
5 and 6.
Let's do it one more time.
By inhaling with a count of 1,
2,
3 and hold for 1,
2,
3 and exhale 1,
2,
3,
4,
5 and 6.
And now think of a safe and supportive person or a higher source or an ancestor to be with you in today's journey.
It could also be your higher self,
Your today self,
Your authentic self.
And just notice their presence and how this makes you feel safe and calm.
If you feel the need to,
Allow them to hold you in any way it feels good.
Just noticing if you choose to,
How it makes you feel safe.
Notice how this shifts any sensations or feelings inside of you.
And now I invite you to bring your attention to any emotion you have been feeling lately that you would like to give it some space in this moment.
Notice with curiosity the presence of this emotion in your mind,
In your body and in your soul.
If you notice that your attention is wandering off,
Just notice it and bring your awareness back to the present moment.
And now just allow your self permission to feel any feelings or emotions that may arise.
You may notice other emotions that are present as well and that's okay.
Just allow yourself to feel anything.
What shape is this emotion?
What color?
Does it move?
Notice with curiosity and love how this emotion is present in this moment.
Noticing with no judgment.
Noticing as if there's space between you two.
Ask yourself does this emotion have anything it wants you to know?
Allow it to speak to you and just listen.
Just as if you're witnessing.
They didn't have anything to say,
That's okay too.
Just allow yourself to be present in this moment.
And now invite your support person to provide words of wisdom regarding this emotion you're feeling.
If they don't have anything or if you don't want them to say anything,
That's okay.
Just allowing them to continue to be present with you.
And now consider an empowering word that you would like to take with you regarding this emotion that you felt today.
It could be safety,
Connected resilience,
Love or gratitude or anything else.
And give yourself a moment to think of what positive word represents this experience tapping into your emotions today.
And when you've chosen the word,
Now repeat this word in your mind's eye and notice how it feels in your body.
And now I invite you to take a deep cleansing breath by inhaling deeply through your belly and noticing the coolness and exhaling slowly and noticing the warmth.
And now as we transition back to your environment,
I invite you to take your time to do so.
And when you're ready,
You can open your eyes.
