Oftentimes, as moms, we find ourselves juggling many plates at once…our minds full of everything that needs to be done, and our bodies often so tired. In this meditation, you’ll take a breather…let go of any stress or tension, and come back to your center. From one mama to another, I see you and I’m sending you so much love. Hi,

My name is Asa.

Welcome to this mindful moment for Mamas,

Guided meditation.

Often times,

As moms,

We find ourselves juggling many plates at once,

Our minds full of everything that needs to be done.

In this meditation,

You'll take a breather,

Let go of any stress or tension,

And come back to your center.

I know your time is precious,

So let's get started.

Gently close your eyes and bring your awareness to the points of contact between your body and the chair or floor.

Feel the ground beneath you and your hands resting on your lap.

Reach the crown of your head up to sit a little taller and relax your shoulders down.

Bring your focus to your breath.

Feel the movement in your collarbone,

Chest,

And belly as you breathe in and out.

Become aware of how deep the breath flows in and follow it as it makes its way back out.

Notice how it feels cooler on the inhale and warmer on the exhale.

Feel your body breathing.

Take the next minute to scan your body from the top of your head and all the way down to your toes,

Noticing areas of tension and areas of ease.

Along with your next exhale,

Imagine a wave of relaxation washing over you,

From the crown of your head all the way down to your toes,

Releasing the tension and relaxing every single muscle.

Let the wave of relaxation wash over you two more times,

Relaxing your body again and again with each exhale.

Next,

We'll take a few guided breaths to release any stress,

Worries,

Doubts,

Or anything else that isn't serving you.

Take a deep breath in and visualize those things flowing out of you as you exhale out through your mouth with a big sigh.

And again,

Take a deep breath in and let it all go with a big sigh.

Allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm.

Bring your palms to touch in front of your heart,

Perhaps rubbing them briefly to build some heat,

And then rest them over your heart center.

Visualize sending yourself some love deep down to your core.

Mama,

You have one of the hardest and most rewarding jobs in the world.

You give so much and work so hard,

Often without any recognition.

So if you haven't been told lately,

You are doing such a good job.

Even if you make mistakes,

Even if today was a hard day or you're in a hard season,

You are strong,

You are appreciated,

You are resilient,

And you are loved.

So please give yourself grace and lots and lots of love.

You deserve it.

As Cardinal Mermillo once said,

A mother is she who can take the place of all others but whose place no one else can take.

Take a deep breath,

Breathing in more love and strength deep into your heart center.

And on your exhale,

Release your hands and gently blink open your eyes.

Thank you for taking this time for yourself to practice this mindful moment for Mama's guided meditation.

I wish you a wonderful rest of your day.
