Hello,

Let's meditate and start by finding a comfortable sitting position.

You choose your seat,

A seat that supports you so that you're sitting in a way that is comfortable for you.

And today's meditation is on support.

And once you find your seat,

Move around.

When you're ready,

Find stillness.

You can choose to close or open your eyes.

And then focus.

You start by bringing your attention to your seat,

Noticing all the body parts touching your seat.

If you're sitting on the ground,

Notice the body part touching the ground.

If you're sitting on a chair,

Just notice your body part connecting with whatever is beneath you,

Acknowledging the support that your seat is offering you right now.

And you can even go deeper to receiving,

Allowing yourself to receive the support that the earth is offering you at this moment.

Feel supported,

Be supported.

Take a moment here to notice and acknowledge the support around you.

Notice who has offered support to you.

It doesn't matter whether you received the support,

But just notice and acknowledge everyone around you who has offered support.

Can be your friends,

Your family,

Your colleagues,

Your yoga community.

You sit and acknowledge the support that's around you.

And then now bring your awareness to the support that you offer to others,

The support you're giving to the people around you.

Acknowledge your ability to offer support without judgment of how small or big the support you're giving.

Just sit and acknowledge how impactful your support is to others and to yourself.

Where can you offer support right now?

Where can you give more support right now?

Can be to the universe,

The environment,

Can be to the people around you,

Your community,

To yourself.

Where can you give support more right now?

And then where can you receive support right now?

To some people,

Giving support is easier than receiving support.

And to some people,

Receiving support is easier than giving support.

But right now,

Where can you receive or who can you receive support from right now?

And allow yourself,

Open yourself to receive.

I want you to sit with the joy of giving and receiving support.

Enlarge yourself with friendship and support.

And my invitation to you right now is to be in the awareness of when others are giving you support,

Be in the awareness of when you are offering support to others without judgment.

And then slowly start to invite yourself back to your physical body and the support that your seat is offering you.

Bring your attention to the support that you're receiving from the ground beneath you.

And together we breathe in,

Together we breathe out.

One more together we breathe in,

And together we breathe out.

Just touch and then bring your thumbs to your forehead.

And while you're here,

Give and receive support.

Namaste and thank you so much for meditating with me.
