Shifting our energy by acknowledging our feelings: We have all had those days where we feel “off”, and we are not sure exactly why. We don’t want to feel that way, so we fight against it. As counter intuitive as it may seem, sometimes the best way to move beyond these feelings is to simply acknowledge them. By embracing these feelings and giving them the space they need to exist, it actually allows them to pass more easily. This meditation is meant to help you identify, acknowledge and embrace these feelings; it is meant to help pull you out of the funk you may be feeling. Thank you for listening! We have all had those days where we feel off and we're not sure exactly why.

We don't want to feel that way,

So we fight against it.

As counterintuitive as it may seem,

Sometimes the best way to move beyond these feelings is to simply acknowledge them.

By embracing these feelings and giving them the space that they need to exist,

It actually allows them to pass more easily.

This meditation is meant to help you identify,

Acknowledge,

And embrace these feelings.

It is meant to help pull you out of the funk that you might be feeling.

Thank you for being here.

My name is Adriana and I will be your meditation guide.

Begin by finding a comfortable position,

Either seated or lying down.

Take a moment to settle in.

Once you feel at ease in your space,

Gently close your eyes.

Now I would like for you to take a long,

Slow,

Deep breath in through your nose.

Be aware of the cool air as it enters your nostrils.

Feel this cooling sensation as your breath travels all the way down into your belly.

Hold it there for a moment.

Now release it with an audible sigh.

This may feel strange,

But by sighing out loud you are signaling your body that you are safe.

You can relax.

Take another long,

Slow,

Deep breath in when it is right for you.

Hold it at the top and release it once more,

This time through your mouth and your nose simultaneously.

As you release your breath,

Feel your body relax.

Keeping your attention on your breath,

Begin to breathe normally.

Relax your face,

Your neck,

Your shoulders.

Feel your belly expand as you sink in deeper.

Keep breathing.

Now,

Without any contemplation or interruption from the ego,

Answer the question,

What do I feel in this moment?

Don't worry about the answer.

Try not to assign any meaning to what comes to mind.

Just acknowledge what you are feeling right now.

Where is this sensation in your body?

How does it show up?

Is it a heaviness?

A constriction?

Sit with this for a moment.

Just observe any sensations.

Using that same method,

Not allowing a dialogue with the ego,

And with this gentle awareness of what you are feeling,

Now answer the question,

If what I am feeling was a color,

What color would it be?

Allow the first impression to be okay.

There is no right or wrong answer.

Continuing with this exercise,

Answer the question,

If what you are feeling in the color you pictured could take a shape,

What shape would it be?

See this shape in your mind's eye.

Again,

Trusting your first impression.

Now imagine you and this shape share the same space.

It is time to ask it a question.

You may ask,

Why are you here?

Or what can I do for you?

Trusting yourself and your first impressions,

Let go of any resistance that you may be feeling.

You may repeat those questions until you feel a sense of completion.

Just remember,

There are no right or wrong answers.

I'd like to allow a few moments for you to feel into these answers.

If nothing comes to mind,

That is okay.

Simply focus on what you feel in this moment as a sensation in your body,

And breathe into that sensation.

With each breath,

Allow the sensation to soften.

Remembering that in this moment,

You are safe.

You are okay.

I will watch the time.

Keep focusing on these sensations and your breath until you hear my voice once again.

You are safe.

You are okay.

Now,

With a deep sense of tranquility,

Take another deep cleansing breath and let it go.

I would like you to imagine that you are bathed in a radiant white light.

It warms you all over,

Starting from the top of your head all the way down to your toes.

Your face softens,

Your shoulders relax,

Your chest feels light.

With your whole body feeling weightless,

Feel the warmth of this glowing light as it cradles you.

Imagine this light illuminates your highest vibration,

As it absorbs any heaviness that you carried with you here in this moment,

As if you were being cleansed.

If you were able to imagine what you are feeling as a color and a shape,

I want you to release that image into the light.

Whether defined or not,

The light alleviates your burden,

Leaving you feeling even lighter.

Stay with the warmth of this glowing white light for a few breaths.

Slowly begin to feel back into your body.

Feel your hands,

Your fingers,

Your toes.

Now,

Smile.

It may seem silly,

But smile anyway.

Allow your smile to grow bigger as you bask in this feeling of relaxation and peace that you have created from within you.

You are welcome to sit with this feeling of peace for as long as you would like,

Or if you feel ready,

You may slowly open your eyes.

You may move about your day with a deep knowing that you are always supported by the universe,

And you can access this sense of peace anytime you feel the need.

I hope this exercise has helped you to shift your energy.

Feel free to return to this practice anytime you'd like to release anything you are holding on to,

Whether you know what it is or not.

Thank you for being here.

Have a beautiful day.

Namaste.
