Acceptance,
Appreciation,
And love meditation.
Begin by finding a comfortable seated position,
Your feet planted on the floor,
Your back straight,
Your shoulders back,
And your hands to place comfortably in your lap.
Begin by bringing awareness to your breath.
A gentle inhale and exhale.
There's nowhere you need to go,
Nothing you need to do,
But simply focus on your breath.
Begin to bring awareness to the space between your breath,
Between your inhale and your exhale,
Your exhale and your inhale.
The gentle space that your body takes effortlessly.
We're going to ignite the breath by taking three deep breaths together.
No forcing,
Simply allowing the breath to deepen and move through you.
Take a deep inhale in and just let it go.
Good.
Take another deep inhale in and just let it go.
One more deep inhale in and let it go.
Begin to bring awareness to the sensations in your body.
Noticing tightness or tension that you might be feeling,
What is your body telling you?
Once you are able to locate these sensations,
Gently send them your breath in acceptance,
Appreciation and love.
Acceptance for their presence,
Appreciation for the lessons they are here to teach you,
And the unconditional love they're asking to receive.
That's why they're showing up.
Begin to scan the body for any sensations and notice any thoughts that might arise as you sit present in this space.
Thoughts of the day,
Thoughts of the future,
Thoughts of things to do.
Simply send them your breath in acceptance,
Appreciation and love.
As you begin to collect these thoughts and sensations,
Picture yourself gently picking them up one by one and placing them on a shelf outside of you.
This is not to discard them,
Suppress them or cast them away.
This is merely just to take a break as you sit present in this space.
As you begin to pick up these thoughts and sensations,
You might notice that other thoughts and sensations might arise.
Simply send them your breath in acceptance,
Appreciation and love.
Pick them up and place them on a shelf outside of you.
We're going to close this short meditation by taking three energizing deep breaths.
As you inhale,
Picture yourself inhaling the white light of peace,
Serenity and clarity.
As you exhale,
Let go of any stale and stagnant energy that no longer serves you.
Take a deep inhale in,
Inhaling the white light of peace and then let go of all that no longer serves you.
Good.
Take another big deep inhale in,
Inhaling more of the white light of peace and then let go of all that no longer serves you.
One more big deep inhale in,
Fully engulfing yourself in the white light of peace.
Let go of all that no longer serves you.
Keeping your eyes closed,
Move your body,
Stretch your body in whichever way it needs,
Give yourself a hug and take your time here.
Your body deserves your attention.
As this meditation comes to a close,
You may continue with your eyes closed,
Focusing on your breath and stretching your body,
Or open those beautiful eyes and continue on with your day.
