Then you might like to let out a couple of releasing breaths.

Can be all sorts of feelings when we're trying new things and taking some leaps of faith and all range of feelings.

So let that breath release whatever you want to release for now.

When you're ready with your eyes open,

Begin to embrace what you can see around the room.

You might even like to hold your arms out and just be aware of what your eyes are taking in light,

Color,

The textures,

The materials you can see in the room and allow your arms to be a symbol of embracing the here and now just embracing what's here,

Accepting what is here in your life right now that you've created,

Knowing that in six months or a year this could look different.

This is what we're seeing right now.

It's here right now,

Something that we've created in the past.

When you're ready,

Bring your awareness to what you can hear.

The absolute miracle of hearing,

To think that our ears can absorb this sound and relay it to our brain and have our brain interpret this sound and recognize what it is.

It's an absolute miracle.

So let yourself bask in that range of sounds that you can hear right now because those sounds ebb and flow and change and even appreciating the silence,

That gift of silence.

Sometimes that feels so blessed just to have that silence and taking your awareness to your sense of taste,

To your tongue,

Just noticing the various tastes in your mouth right now.

Again,

Another miracle of sensing of your tongue,

Noticing these tastes and then relaying them to your brain and being able to know what they are.

It's just an incredible feat of our amazing bodies and what they can do and to your sense of smell,

Noticing the fragrances in the room or around your body,

Noticing the quality of the air as you breathe,

Breathing in that gift of oxygen,

Breathing in the fragrance and breathing out your fragrance to the world.

When you're ready,

Noticing the parts of your body that are in touch with whatever you're resting on.

Notice that contact.

Notice the parts of your body that are in touch with the ground and sense into that connection with the earth,

That incredible earth that's nourishing,

Sustaining us in every way.

Become aware of that contact with that solidity and that strong support beneath us.

You might even explore your relationship with the earth for a moment and you think of how abundant the earth is,

How many gifts that it gives you.

Notice how that feels.

And when you're ready,

You might even give yourself the gift of touch just by running one hand over the other or one hand over each arm or touching your head or your face.

With a gentle touch,

A loving touch,

If that feels right for you.

Becoming aware that as you become aware of your body,

Each time you become aware of yourself,

Your body,

You give yourself a gift,

That gift of awareness,

That gift of attention.

And perhaps it feels like love or perhaps it's just a sense of recognition,

Acknowledgement,

Validation,

Sense of presence and appreciation that you are here right now,

That you're noticed and seen by you.

So when you're ready,

Take that awareness,

That loving,

Kind,

Noticing through your body,

Beginning at the top of your head,

Beginning to scan through the inside of your head,

Simply giving to yourself that noticing that loving attention,

That kindness,

Like a loving touch or a caring,

Caring attention.

Just notice the parts of your body that need that attention right now.

As you scan through your neck,

Your jaw,

Sides of your head,

Scalp,

Down over your shoulders,

Bringing that light,

Caring attention wherever it's needed the most.

Taking that awareness down over your chest,

Your spine,

Your lungs,

Your heart,

Your internal organs,

Down into your belly and abdomen,

Deep into your pelvis,

And all these special organs here,

All these different functions,

The parts of your body need your caring attention,

Your acknowledgement,

Your caring touch.

Just allow your attention,

Your awareness to land wherever it's needed right now.

Scanning through your arms,

Your elbows,

Your lower arms,

Your hands,

Fingers,

Wrists,

And continuing that scan through your legs,

Your knees,

Your lower legs,

Your amazing ankles,

Heels,

Feet,

Soles of your feet and toes.

You might have some words,

Some caring words for your whole body,

Something like I'm here for you,

I'm listening,

Generously giving your awareness wherever it's needed in your body.

I hear you,

I see you,

I'm here for you.

And if it feels right for you,

You might like to move any part of your body that feels like it needs to move right now.

Perhaps any part of the body where tension is still present or just wherever it instinctively feels right for you.

I'm noticing what happens in your body when you give it this loving attention.

How does it respond?

When you're ready,

Can bring your awareness back to your outer senses,

Sensation of your body pressed against whatever you're resting on.

You might like to resume that touch with your arms or your hands,

Touch your face,

Neck and shoulders,

Be aware of sounds,

Fragrances,

Tastes,

And textures,

Recognizing the beautiful gifts inside your body and outside your body.

And when you're ready,

Opening your eyes to the gifts you can see in your room.
