Perhaps it's time to make space for something new,
A new way of approaching life and approaching challenges that seem to be a part of life.
Before we proceed,
I invite you to make yourself comfortable.
Be seated either in a chair or lie down whatever feels more comfortable.
I suggest you close your eyes to go inwards.
Place both your hands on your heart so you can receive my instructions heart to heart.
Allow your breath to naturalize.
Let it do what it wishes to do.
Notice the in-breath and how that feels.
Notice the out-breath and how that feels.
Do it again.
And now with each out-breath,
Linger a little longer.
With each out-breath,
You are letting go of this moment and moving on to the next.
With each out-breath,
You are letting go of tension in your body.
With each out-breath,
You are letting go of whatever you were holding on to.
You are doing so well.
Your breath is now nice and deep.
Drop deeper.
Surrender your body to gravity.
Deliberately let go of the resistances.
Yes.
Soften deeper.
Allow all your muscles to become lax,
Deeper,
Softer,
Restful.
This is how your being is becoming with each in-breath and each out-breath.
Let go of anything you might be holding on to from yesterday or earlier today or from many,
Many,
Many days ago.
Sometimes we need to gift ourselves some space,
Space for something new to emerge in this present moment,
Like cultivating a new awareness,
A new way of dealing with life's challenging moments,
Challenges that are out of our control.
And to cultivate greater acceptance,
Let us appreciate how the day is always followed by the night,
Light by darkness,
Spring by winter,
Youth with aging,
Birth by death,
And death by rebirth.
In the same way happiness and sorrow come to visit you as per the wish of a great cosmic intelligence,
Just like you don't go into a confrontation mode when it rains or when the sun shines,
Nor you try to control the sun or the rain,
And you are fine when you are too hot or too wet,
And when you are okay with the sunshine and with the rain,
Then you are fine.
And when you are okay with the sunshine and with the rain,
Then you are led into finding the open sky within your heart in the same way.
When you welcome this cloud burst of challenges and not woo it and force it and wish it to go away,
Nor you run away from it,
Nor lament,
Nor worry,
Nor collapse in fear,
Then it does go away.
Just like you are inhaling and exhaling,
Inhaling and exhaling,
Inhaling and exhaling,
Can you let the volatile waves in the ocean of your life rise and fall,
Rise and fall,
Rise and fall.
The pairs of opposite that life ocean washes ashore are always in pairs,
Health,
Ill health,
Ill health,
Safety and safety,
Fame,
Disfame,
Victory,
Defeat,
Loss,
Gain,
Likable,
Unlikable,
Comfortable,
Uncomfortable,
Pleasant,
Ugly,
Acceptance,
Rejection,
Each a teaching of sorrow and joy.
Can you now begin to not give the opposites,
The wanted and wanted circumstance,
So much importance and remain steadfast instead in the acceptance of all the opposites with acceptance and willingness?
When you become non grasping for one at the cost of another,
Steadfast in pain as well as pleasure,
Joy as well as sorrow,
Gain as well as loss,
Corona or non corona,
Then the intelligent universe knows you have learned to have a total view of life,
A spiritual vision,
A holistic acceptance of what life is all about,
The pairs of opposites.
Yes,
Exhale and with each exhalation,
Let go of the control of what you did not want.
Yes,
Inhale and with each exhalation,
Let go of the control of what you did not want.
Yes,
Inhale and with each inhalation,
You are accepting whatever is.
You are doing so well.
You have received my guidance.
So soulfully,
Gently,
Softly,
You have remembered to let challenges come be and go away because nothing comes alone.
If challenges here,
Just let go of the control of what you did not want.
Let them be and go away because nothing comes alone.
If challenges here today,
Tomorrow,
Ease will be with you.
Comfort will be with you.
Joy will be with you.
As you let go of control,
Breathe in willingness,
Breathe in acceptance,
Breathe in okayness,
Breathe in surrender to a greater cosmic intelligence,
And breathe out stress,
Breathe out control,
Breathe out anxiety.
Take some time now to rest in this new found awareness that you can be okay despite challenges not in your control coming your way because you understand that nothing stays,
This too shall pass.
Let a sense of lightness wash all over your being as if a huge weight has been lifted.
Notice the subtle relief throughout your body in each and every cell.
Experience spaciousness.
You may experience lightheartedness,
Support,
Nourishment through partnership with a greater intelligence.
Whatever your feeling is okay,
Be with the sensation.
When you're ready,
Slowly begin to deepen your breath,
And before you open your eyes,
Bring your bodily awareness back to the room you are in and the space around you.
Take the next few breaths to acknowledge the practice of willing acceptance of challenges with the greater awareness that you have created today.
With this awareness,
You've honored yourself so well.
On your next inhale,
Open your eyes.
