Blessed one,
Welcome to Atma Bodh contemplation meditation.
Atma Bodh is awakening to the truth of our spiritual nature.
You are making an appointment to meet your own spiritual self.
Deep inside the cave of your being dwells a silent presence,
Your true self.
Atma Bodh meditation is an inward journey where you will be guided to walk on an inner lighted path that takes you home to you.
Discover a secret treasure of stillness,
Tranquility and everlasting joy.
I welcome you to embark on the sacred journey with myself Shunya as your meditation guide.
Simply receive my instructions without any effort.
If your mind wanders during the meditation,
Simply bring your awareness back to the sound of my voice.
To begin,
Ensure that you are sitting comfortably on a cushion or a chair.
You may begin to close your eyes if you have not done so already.
We close our eyes so that we are not distracted.
Now let's take a moment to relax your body and mind.
Make sure that you are comfortable with your spine gently erect.
Rest your hands loosely in your lap or fold them on top of each other with palms facing upwards.
You will know you are relaxing when you lose awareness of your body.
Be aware of the sacredness of this present moment.
Awareness of the present moment will unite you to the presence you are seeking within.
You are now going to relax using your breath.
Pay attention to your natural breath.
Observe the sensations that breathing is creating in your body.
Become gently aware as the breath comes in and as the breath goes out.
Take a few deep inhalations and deep exhalations.
Observe the sensation of air passing through the nostrils.
Observe the sensations of your navel area rising and falling with the breath.
Breathing in.
You are witnessing.
You are breathing in.
Breathing out.
You are witnessing.
You are breathing out.
Breathing in.
You are witnessing.
You are breathing in.
Breathing out.
You are witnessing.
You are breathing out.
Each time you breathe,
Allow yourself to feel peaceful,
Calm and completely relaxed.
You are drifting into a state of deep relaxation.
Your breath is relaxing.
Your body is relaxing.
Your mind is relaxing.
You are now heading deeper and deeper into a dreamlike state of stillness and meditation.
You are comfortable.
You are peaceful.
You are deeply relaxed.
Now go deeper into meditation by silently asking yourself the most important spiritual question.
Who am I?
Let me assist you in seeking insights from within you.
Am I the body?
Spend some time observing this material container called body in which your awareness seems to dwell in.
Of your body.
The observer is always different from that which is observed.
This body you witness,
Therefore this body you are not.
I am not my body.
This witness alone am I.
Am I the mind?
Spend some moments observing your mind.
Notice the mental events,
Feelings,
Thoughts,
Perceptions,
Memories,
Ideas,
Sorrow,
Pleasure,
Fear,
Anger,
Grief,
Excitement and all such emotions.
Are you the mind?
The observer is always different from that which is observed.
The mind you witness,
Therefore the mind you are not.
I am not my mind.
Its witness alone I am.
May it be known,
You are the source of consciousness,
Not the objects illumined in consciousness.
You are the witness alone.
Know it,
You are.
Sakshi Chaitanyam.
Sakshi,
The non-judging,
Non-participating,
Non-attached,
Pure witness consciousness.
Your awareness is the invisible background in which everything arises like a cloudless sky.
It has no form.
It is eternal space,
Infinite stillness.
The essence of beingness.
Yet awareness,
The self,
Itself remains unchanged.
Know you are not the breath,
Body and mind identified in a personal story of race,
Gender,
Age,
Class,
Religion,
Family,
Profession,
Sorrows and joys.
In the presence of the sheer awareness that you are,
All labels simply dissolve.
Set your personality aside and sit in your own divine awareness.
The great indescribable,
Absolute spiritual presence that is forever beyond conceptions,
Perceptions,
Definitions and limitations.
You are that.
I am the boundlessness and limitlessness of consciousness.
The source and substance of infinite possibility of being and becoming.
In this Atma Buddha meditation,
I am becoming aware of awareness itself.
All the rest,
Breath,
Body,
Mind,
World,
Experiences,
Relationships,
Objects,
All are suspended in this pure awareness that I am.
All experiences are becoming lighter and lighter.
I experience myself freer and freer.
And finally,
All that remains is I,
The witnessing self.
Ever free,
Pure,
Formless,
Changeless awareness,
Sakshi Chaitanyam.
In this meditation,
I reconnect to my spiritual self.
I reclaim my inner nature.
I acknowledge this presence as my divine self.
Absolute existence,
Absolute knowledge,
Absolute bliss.
I am.
I am love without an iota of limitation.
The supreme self,
I am.
The joyful self,
I am.
The eternally wise self,
I am.
The truly peaceful self,
I am.
The silent self,
I am.
The eternally healthy,
Immortal self,
I am.
Let us go still deeper and open a door in the centre of your being.
Greet yourself,
The reservoir of spiritual restfulness.
A ceaseless river of silent awareness flows deep inside your being.
Focus on this silence for next three minutes.
Now,
Relax and tense the upper part of your body with yourazione.
You You You You You You You You You You You You You You Is You
