Hi everyone,
Thank you for joining me today.
My name is Helton and we'll be going through a little meditation.
So just coming into a nice comfortable space,
Preferably with no outside noise.
Finding a nice comfortable seat.
Place your hands on your knees or in your lap.
Beginning to deepen your breath.
Inhaling through the nose and exhaling through the nose.
Breathing in a little deeper than you normally would.
Simply elongating your breath.
Closing the eyelids.
Noticing how the belly rises as you inhale and falls as you exhale.
Sitting up nice and tall.
Spine is long.
Shoulders move down and back away from the ears.
Neck is long.
Crown of the head shining up towards the sky.
Allowing your breath to fill every corner of the body.
Rejuvenating our cells and allowing our breath to anchor us into this present moment.
As we slowly begin to scan through the body.
Beginning at the top of the head.
Releasing tension from the forehead.
The area around the eyes.
The cheeks.
The lips.
Allowing the jaw to relax.
The throat to soften.
Shoulders relax.
Chest and back soften.
Thumbs relax.
Belly softens.
Releasing tension from the hips.
The thighs.
The calves.
All the way down to the soles of the feet.
If you find yourself coming out of your practice or getting lost in any thoughts,
Just slowly bring your awareness back to the breath.
Back to this present moment.
Toes deep,
Inhales and exhales through the nose.
As we introduce today's centering thought which is around awareness.
Through our practice of mindfulness,
We cultivate an awareness that leads us into a deeper sense of inner alertness.
We become more aware of our breath,
Allowing it to flow with ease,
Filling each corner of the body.
We become more aware of the things in our lives that bring us joy and how to further cultivate them.
And most of all,
We become more aware of who we truly are and how we can continue to not only show up for others but also show up for ourselves.
With this awareness,
We get one step closer to living on our true life's purpose.
One filled with abundance,
Joy and love.
Noticing how these words resonate throughout the body.
How they vibrate throughout our thoughts.
And for the next few moments,
If there's anything that jumped out to you.
Anything that struck a chord,
Just allowing that to help guide your meditation today.
To help keep you into the present moment.

Knowing that when you act out of love,
It's never a wrong choice.
Allowing love,
Kindness and joy to lead our actions.

Once grounded in our being,
We're able to really be our true selves.
And then able to act out our true life's purpose.
Being in the now,
Being in the present.
And continuing to find that heightened sense of awareness.
To help guide us through our journey.
And as we rest our attention on our thoughts,
We allow them to find meaning.
And as we're able to find meaning within our thoughts,
They help direct us,
Guide us,
Answer questions that we have.
Those deep questions that we can only find once we truly are able to go within.
And as we rest our attention on our thoughts,
We allow them to find meaning within our thoughts.
Slowly bringing awareness back into the body.
Drawing both hands to heart center,
Thumbs pressing into the chest.
Let's take a few deep cleansing breaths together.
Inhaling through the nose.
Exhale through the mouth.
Inhale through the nose.
Exhale through the mouth.
One last deep inhale.
And exhale through the mouth.
As we close our practice today,
We thank ourselves for being here.
For cultivating our energy,
Our breath,
And awareness.
Showing gratitude for the earth below us,
The sky above us,
And the fire within us.
I wish you all more joy,

And abundance.
Inhaling your hands up to our third eye.
Slowly opening our eyelids.
You can draw the neck from side to side.
Roll the shoulders a little bit.
Let's come back into your safe space.
