Before we get started,
Find yourself a quiet,
Comfortable spot where you won't be disturbed.
Make sure that you're in a comfortable,
Upright,
Seated position using any props you need so you can stay seated pain-free throughout this practice.
Whenever you've found a comfortable position,
Close your eyes,
Completely relax your body and turn to stillness.
Let's begin.
This meditation will help produce a deep state of relaxation,
Allowing your body to restore.
Start by finding yourself a comfortable position for this practice.
Sitting or lying down,
Whatever you feel is best for you right now.
Allow your body to get completely comfortable,
Moving until you've found your spot.
Close your eyes and take a deep inhale.
And as you exhale,
Sigh it out.
Drop your shoulders and sink into your position deeper.
Take another deep breath,
Sigh it out one more time.
Continue this deep breathing,
Inhaling and exhaling through the nose.
Start to expand your exhale,
Breathing deeper and longer,
Allowing the belly to expand bigger and exhaling fully.
Now let go,
Continue your natural breathing.
Everything starts to slow down.
Feel your breath start to slow down,
The beat slowing down.
The entire outside world begins to slow down as you enter this present moment.
Deepen your awareness of the present moment,
As you draw your attention to your heart center.
Direct your breath towards your heart center,
Allowing your chest to expand with each inhale and feel the chest contract with each exhale,
Mind and body coming into coherence.
As you start to go deeper and deeper within,
Notice which body part feels completely relaxed and begin to spread that sensation of relaxation throughout your entire body,
Expanding through every muscle,
Fiber and cell of your being.
Relaxing your hands,
Arms,
Shoulders and chest.
Feeling your legs sinking down into your surface,
Relaxing your hips,
Feet and toes.
Softening your face,
Eyes and feel your jaw relax.
Feel your whole body dissolve into an ocean of relaxation.
Allow your body to restore and regain balance,
Letting go of any stress or tension.
Gently start by taking a couple of energetic breaths in again,
Arriving back into the body and the space that you're in.
Start to slowly move and awaken the body as if you've just woken up from a beautiful deep sleep,
Letting out a sigh or a yawn,
Feeling what this intense relaxation has done for you.
Whenever you're ready,
Open your eyes,
Feeling connected and balanced to self again.
