Before we get started,

Find yourself a quiet,

Comfortable spot where you won't be disturbed.

Make sure that you're in a comfortable,

Upright,

Seated position using any props you need so you can stay seated pain-free throughout this practice.

Whenever you've found a comfortable position,

Close your eyes,

Completely relax your body and turn to stillness.

Let's begin.

Settle into your comfortable,

Seated position and find your center,

Awareness to the inflow and outflow of your breath.

Following the breath all the way out to the very tip of the exhalation and allowing the inhalation to flow in easily and naturally.

There's nothing to control,

Only to observe the inflow and outflow of the breath.

Take a deeper breath with more awareness and as you exhale,

Relax and let go of the day.

Taking another deep breath,

Bringing it all the way up into the collarbones and holding it at the top.

As slow and gentle as you can,

Exhale fully as you feel your body settling down,

Allowing you to completely relax.

And now once more,

Take another deep breath in towards your heart space,

Breathing life into the body and as you exhale,

Begin to let go of your day,

Arriving here in this moment.

Allow every exhalation to ground you in this moment,

Where all is well and you can let go,

Letting go of your day,

Of all that you've done and of all that no longer serves you.

As you continue breathing with great awareness,

Signal each body part to relax even further,

Beginning with the feet.

With every exhalation,

Signal the feet to rest and relax.

Moving up to the lower legs,

Knees and thighs.

With every exhalation,

Signal this part of the body to grow heavier,

Relax and let go of the day.

Moving up to the hips,

The part of the body that bears so much weight.

With every exhalation,

Signal this part of your body to let go and relax.

Moving your awareness to your spine,

Your lower,

Mid and upper spine that supports you throughout the day.

Signal this part of the body to relax with every exhale.

Moving to the front of the body,

Your belly,

Chest and shoulders.

With every breath,

Signal this part of the body to soften and rest.

Your neck,

Your face,

Your entire head.

With every breath,

Becoming heavier and heavier,

Releasing any tension.

With every breath,

Feeling more connected to this moment,

More grounded,

Preparing your body for a peaceful night's rest.

It's time to reflect back on this day and observe with great calm.

Observe with great kindness and awareness the choices you made on this day,

The thoughts you had on this day,

The emotions you experienced on this day.

And like a movie,

Run through your day from beginning to end and observe,

Without judgment,

The moments of your day.

Simply bring awareness to where during the day your choices,

Your thoughts,

Your emotions were not in alignment with your higher self.

Simply be aware.

Reflect with great kindness and compassion for yourself.

Where did you disconnect from the highest version of yourself on this day?

Continue to reflect with great care and kindness.

And now,

As we get ready to lay our head down for the evening,

Rest our mind and body,

It's time to fill ourselves up with a vision of our highest self,

With a vision of the choices we wish to make in our life,

With visions of what we want to experience more of in our life.

Allowing these thoughts and emotions to help you drift off into sleep and enter into a new day.

May this energy guide you into your dreams and offer you a deep,

Beautiful sleep.

And finally,

Giving thanks for gifting yourself this time to relax,

To reflect and to create.

Allow the energy of gratitude to wash over you and into every cell of your body,

Expanding and softening as you get ready to settle down for a beautiful,

Peaceful sleep.

When you're ready,

Coming back,

Feeling rested and at peace,

Opening your eyes gently and allowing yourself to slowly prepare for a beautiful,

Rejuvenating sleep.

Good night.
