This meditation practice takes you back to meaningful childhood memories to help you heal yourself. By using visualization and deep breathing, you will find yourself lying on the banks of a magical river. You will meet your mother here, and you will return to her, metaphorically, the things that have impacted your life and traumatized you as a child. You will get back what is truly yours in exchange. The enchanted river is a healer, a source of strength and serenity that guards you from harm. Inner calm, emotional equilibrium and clarity are the goals of this exercise. Use this time to think, recover, and rest.

Hello and welcome.

Today we will work on reconnecting with our childhood.

This meditation will guide you through a journey of reflection and healing.

Lie down in shavasana,

Feet apart and the palms of the hands facing upwards.

Close your eyes and quickly become motionless.

Now is the time to make any adjustments.

There should be no movement until the practice is finished.

Forget all your cares.

Take a long deep breath.

Now start counting your breaths silently from 54 to 1,

Like this.

Breathe in 54,

Breathe out 54.

Breathe in 53,

Breathe out 53 and so on.

If you lose track or make a mistake,

Start again from 54.

Continue counting and don't fall asleep.

Stop counting.

Now we are ready to start our visualization.

Imagine you are on the shore of a magical river.

You lie on the sand under the gentle April sun.

The river flows slowly beside you and birds sing in a clear cloudless sky.

You feel completely relaxed.

We are going to take a trip down the memory lane to address the relationship with our mother.

The healing waters of the mythical river will help us.

We'll take a swim in the river after our session,

Allowing its healing energy to wash over us.

Close your eyes and select a time in your childhood that you want to focus on.

Imagine your mother.

Do you stand behind her or are you looking directly into her eyes?

Is she looking at you?

Know that this magical beach is a starting point,

A place you can always return to.

Now observe.

There you are and there is your mother at a certain period of childhood.

Imagine you are giving something to her.

What might that be?

Picture yourself handing this item to your mother and see her take it.

It may take time to give it away.

Stay in this moment.

Now imagine your mother giving you something that belongs to you by right.

Accept it fully.

Observe what it is.

Try to take what's rightfully yours.

Follow time for this process.

Now mentally return to the magical beach and become aware of the changes within you.

These changes might be painful or confusing.

Know that the magical river is in front of you.

It will help you,

Giving you strength and understanding.

Step into the water and feel its healing power.

This water heals our wounds,

Restores health and provides strength.

It brings peace and joy.

Feel the coolness and gentle flow of the water.

Stay here for a while,

Breathing deeply.

Now become aware of your breathing again.

Become aware of your relaxation.

Develop awareness of your physical existence.

Become aware of your arms and legs and your body lying stretched on the bed.

Lie quietly for a few moments and keep your eyes closed.

When you are sure that you are wide awake,

Start moving your body and stretching yourself.

Please,

Take your time.

Do not hurry.

The practice is now complete.
