I invite you on a transformative journey inward, where we'll lovingly encounter and embrace the parts of ourselves that have hesitated in the face of change. These are the echoes within us, whispering fears of success, change, vulnerability, and the unknown. This journey is a gentle call to these hidden fragments of our spirit, offering them understanding, acceptance, and love.

Transcript

Begin by finding a comfortable seated position and gently close your eyes.

You're going to start with three deep grounding breaths,

Breathing into your belly,

Bringing it up to your chest,

All the way to the top of your head.

And as you exhale,

Let it go with a sigh,

Releasing any immediate thoughts or tensions that exist in your body.

Once again,

Bringing the breath into your belly,

Up,

Up,

Up to the top of your head.

And on the out breath,

Releasing the sigh and tapping into your immediate environment,

The surface beneath you,

Air on your skin.

And once more,

Bringing the breath into the belly,

Big deep breath in,

And on the out breath,

Just calling your energy home,

Coming into your body,

Centering,

Finding your center.

Now return to your normal pace of breath.

And I'd like you to set an intention for this journey to be one of deep understanding and healing integration.

In this journey,

We are going to come face to face with different aspects of our being that have shown resistance or discomfort around our growth and transformation over the last couple of months.

These may include fears such as fear of change,

Fear of success,

A preference for inaction.

This might be a resistance to authority in the guidance that you're receiving.

This could be a fear of vulnerability.

This might be a desire to maintain authenticity.

This could be a need for control.

And acknowledge that it's natural to encounter these feelings when embarking on a journey of self-development.

And although some of these things can hold us back,

Some of them are also showing up in a genuine desire to protect us and to offer us insight into the individuality of our personal journey.

I ask that you just take another few breaths here,

Coming more deeply into your body with each breath,

Feeling the tension in your muscles melting away,

Inviting a sense of tranquility and serenity of the mind.

Now,

I'd like you to visualize a path leading to a tranquil and safe space.

Create this for exactly what that means to you.

Tranquil and safe space.

Tranquil and safe space.

And as you walk toward it,

Let each step deepen your sense of calm.

And as you arrive to your destination,

You take a seated position,

Whether in a chair or on a sofa or in the grass.

Here,

You encounter the first aspect of yourself that has demonstrated discomfort or resistance along this journey.

This might be the part of you that fears change or success,

Or the part of you that prefers the comfort of inaction.

Sitting with her,

I'd like you to observe her age,

Her posture,

Her energy,

And open up a gentle conversation about the reasons for her resistance.

You might ask her,

Why are you feeling uncomfortable?

What emotions are coming up for you?

And as you receive her answers,

Just hold space for her.

And as you listen to her,

You might ask her,

Why are you feeling uncomfortable?

Just hold space for her.

You may offer some compassionate responses like,

Thank you for speaking up,

Or you are safe.

Your feelings are valid.

We're doing things a little differently now.

And you are safe.

Now,

Tune back into the being that is you.

And with radical honesty,

Ask yourself,

Is the resistance she feels holding me back?

The answer is yes.

Offer her words of reassurement,

Letting her know that there is another way that we are exploring for the betterment of all.

Let her know that she is safe and loved.

Let her know that she is safe and loved.

Alternatively,

If when asking yourself,

Is this resistance holding me back?

The answer is no.

Perhaps the insights she is bringing to you could actually complement your journey and allow the ideas to come forth for how you may empower yourself with more alignment.

Thank her for this insight.

If you feel the conversation needs a little more time,

You can pause the recording here.

And as the conversation comes to a close,

Offer her words of validation and reassurement,

And let her know that you are in control.

Envision a warm light enveloping both of you,

Soothing any discomfort and fostering understanding between the two of you.

Now,

With a deep breath in,

Feel a sense of gratitude and peace.

Gently let this aspect of you fade,

Carrying its message with compassion.

Now we are preparing to meet the second aspect,

Keeping our heart open to understanding and empathy.

And again,

Across from you,

A second aspect appears.

She might represent your resistance to authority or a fear of losing your authenticity.

Notice her characteristics.

How old is she?

What is she wearing?

How does she hold her body?

And now initiate another heart-to-heart conversation.

Why are you feeling resistance?

I'm noticing you're uncomfortable.

Hear her perspective.

Respond to her.

I appreciate you expressing yourself.

Thank you for letting this be known.

And perhaps we are doing things differently now,

And you are safe.

If you feel that this conversation requires a little more time,

We may pause the recording here.

And check in with the you who is you,

And ask.

Who are you?

Who are you?

Who are you?

And ask.

Are these concerns holding me back?

Or could these concerns drive me forward?

Are they hindering my progress?

Or are they helping?

And as this conversation comes to an end,

I want you to imagine a reassuring light around you both.

Symbolizing acceptance.

The courage to embrace change.

Breathing deeply.

Integrating this second aspect's wisdom.

Understanding that she comes with a whole gambit of experiences.

That she is bringing her beliefs forward to you in vulnerability.

Honor her experiences.

Honor her vulnerability.

And let her presence gently dissolve as you prepare for the final encounter.

And now this third aspect of yourself steps forward.

She might embody the fear of vulnerability or a strong desire for control.

Engage with her.

Acknowledging her presence and her concerns.

Allow her to speak them into the space.

Offer her words of encouragement like Thank you for having the courage to bring this to my attention.

Or I'm ready to try something new and you are safe.

And again,

Check in with yourself.

With the version of you that is you.

And ask yourself Is this aspect of me trying to keep me safe?

Or is this aspect of me trying to find a better way?

And if she is trying to keep you safe let her know that she is safe.

Let her know that you are in control.

Let her know that you are safe.

Let her know that you are trying things a new way.

And if she is offering insight that could complement your journey allow her to speak her ideas to you.

How can we do this with more alignment?

And now visualize a unifying light merging this aspect with your core.

Symbolizing the integration of these parts of yourself into a harmonious whole.

Breathing deeply integrating the knowledge and insight she has provided to you.

Let her presence gently dissolve.

Slowly bring your awareness back to the present moment.

And we are going to take three deep breaths in through the belly and releasing embracing a renewed sense of unity.

Deep breath in On the out breath sinking into feelings of peace connection.

More deep breath in And on the out breath thanking these aspects for coming to you in gratitude for the insights you have garnered.

And when you are ready you may gently open your eyes feeling ready to move forward with a deeper understanding of yourself,

Of your being more acceptance of all of your parts and more harmony within.
