Hello and welcome to our community meditation space.
My name is Vivian Girard and it is my delight to be guiding us in a meditation for the full moon partial lunar eclipse in Pisces.
As we settle into this time together,
I invite you to picture yourself walking into our virtual living room,
Finding your seat in circle,
And sitting down,
Turning our attention towards astrology as a lens to which better understand our human journey.
Let us begin.
Go ahead and close your eyes if you have not yet and allow your body to start to come fully into this moment.
Breath is a powerful way to do that.
So you can exhale long and slow out your mouth.
You can breathe deeper through your body,
Slowing down your breath.
And bring your focus,
Your attention down to your feet.
I find this is one of the most powerful ways to become fully present in this moment.
Is to picture your feet in your mind's eye.
To see all of your power gathering at the base of your body all the way down at your feet.
Where you connect to the earth.
Relaxing the muscles of your body and allowing yourself to land here in this moment.
Eclipse season in particular can have us activated,
Scattered,
Out of our bodies,
Busy,
And beginning the meditation time by focusing on our body and calling all of our attention back here down into our body.
Is the most powerful way to complete this eclipse window that is wrapping up with this eclipse in Pisces.
So slow down your body,
Your breathing.
Relax your muscles.
And as you focus on your feet,
Imagine you can call your attention,
Your power,
Out of whatever has had you most engaged or attached today.
Perhaps it is your work,
Your health,
A relationship you are in.
A worry you have about the future or the past.
Imagine you can unravel your power,
Your energy.
See it as a thread or a cord.
And you can pull your power,
Pull that thread back into you.
Whatever you have been focusing on will be waiting for you when you complete your meditation.
So what if you give yourself this time to be fully present in yourself?
As your power comes back into your body,
You may want to wiggle or stretch your shoulders,
Your chest a little wider and guide your power down through your body to your feet.
And then call more of you home to you.
With a sense of curiosity,
Not judgment.
Just being very aware of the places and people that your attention and your power normally sit in or are attached to.
Call you home to you.
And as your power comes back into you,
You guide it all the way down through your body to your feet.
And start filling your body up with your awareness,
Your power,
Your energy,
Your consciousness.
Relaxing your muscles and noticing how it starts to become quieter in your mind when your mind is focusing on this practice.
On noticing where you are outside of here and calling you back here.
As your energy starts to fill up your body.
You can imagine expanding the size of your body so that you have more space inside of you.
When we feel our power back in our body.
It can feel more dense,
More full inside of ourselves.
Because we have not had that feeling in a while.
Because so much of us sits outside of our body and tracks and monitors and attaches to all the things and people around us.
So when your power is back in you,
Filling you up all the way from your feet,
Up through your body.
There's a physical experience of that.
Our body is more dense.
Our heart may be feeling more full.
So expand your energy space a little wider than your body.
And take up more of your own room.
Feeling your feet firmly planted,
Grounded here in this moment.
Here on this planet.
And relax your muscles.
For our minds,
I bring in a nugget or two of the astrology.
A full moon is usually bringing a completion,
An ending.
A full moon eclipse amplifies that ending.
And this particular full moon eclipse is completing a cycle that started two years ago,
September 2024.
So the endings are amplified right now.
And sometimes our mind,
Our body,
Our heart.
Doesn't feel quite ready for the ending.
And it can be easier to be outside of our full presence,
Outside of our body.
Rather than feeling what there is inside to feel.
So call all of your power,
Your attention into you.
Cueing your body to safety.
Your body already knows that the energies are shifting.
Your heart knows that endings are doorways into something new.
Into a beginning that we can sense but perhaps don't have words for yet.
And our mind is often the place where we resist the most.
We try to hold on to what is familiar and known and proven.
Because the unknown feels.
Unknown.
So relax the muscles of your body and allow yourself to be fully here.
When endings are amplified.
When we feel the completions are happening.
It can be easy.
To judge or criticize ourselves for the way we are.
Perhaps what we didn't do well or didn't get right.
Or didn't experience in the way that we had hoped we would by this completion.
And regret becomes a heavy blanket or weight.
That we can allow ourselves to layer on to the human journey.
Our mind is powerful at creating regret.
And so I name it here in this moment.
As an emotion,
An energy.
A choice that sometimes we make by default.
In this moment.
In this meditation,
In this body that you are in.
You can choose to release the regret.
You can see it as a color,
Perhaps.
Like a deep burgundy or a heavy dark brown.
And you can scan through your body to feel,
To get a sense of where the regret is sitting,
Is hiding,
Is storing itself.
I find it as often in my heart and in my back.
It may be on your shoulders.
It may be all the way at your feet,
Like heavy concrete blocks that make it hard to pick your feet up and walk into what is next.
In meditation time when you are quietly being with yourself.
Your body will show you.
Your heart will give you the clear message and words and images.
So allow yourself to see.
To know,
To feel inside of you.
Where regret has been storing itself,
Accumulating.
And then you can choose to move that regret as an energy all the way down through your body to your feet.
You may have to wiggle or move your body almost to dislodge the regret.
It may feel like a heavy boulder.
And so perhaps in your visualization you want to see yourself dissolving.
Pulverizing the boulder down into smaller pieces.
So that it can make its way all the way down through your body to your feet.
And your body may feel uncomfortable or fidgety.
You may have a lump in your throat or a buzz of energy moving through you.
When we make a choice to shift an emotion that has been heavy in our body for a while and allow it to start moving,
Our body feels that physical shift.
So allow your body to move,
To release.
You can shrug your shoulders or wiggle your body around and visualize regret as a heavy energy making its way all the way through your body down to your feet.
And then you get to choose from the bottoms of your feet to release that heavy energy.
We name it regret,
But.
.
.
It's just energy.
It's an emotion that we have felt and carried,
And just as easily as we can wash our feet in the bath or the shower with water and soap,
You can take an emotion,
An energy that has been heavy,
And choose to release it from your feet down into the earth.
Seen as sludge,
Thickness,
Heavy molasses.
That starts to unravel from your feet,
Detach from the base of your body at your feet,
And move slowly into the earth underneath you.
Our imaginations are powerful resources when we are moving energy.
And so imagine that you can spray the bottoms of your feet with water in your own visualization and detach any of the stickiness.
That regret has been holding you in.
For our minds,
As we are clearing the bottoms of our feet and releasing regret into the earth,
For our minds,
Why would we want to release regret?
The answer I hear is that it is an emotion that keeps us stuck.
It is an emotion that loops because often regret is not going to carry us into action to correct the regret.
It does not inspire us to do something differently or to clean up something that perhaps requires a conversation.
Regret can keep us stuck in the I wish it had been different.
I wish I had been something else.
And so what if we can transmute,
Alchemize regret?
Into clarity.
Into conviction.
Into the choice to love differently.
Live differently,
Be more of ourselves authentically.
Relax the muscles of your body.
And allow your imagination to start to alchemize.
Any of the last pieces of regret that are attached to your feet.
Alchemize the regret into choice,
Into action.
Into alignment.
And notice what happens in your body,
How.
You breathe more deeply and calmly as the regret leaves your feet and goes into the earth to be transmuted.
Cleared into energy that is of greater use somewhere else on our planet.
Notice how calm your body feels when regret is no longer holding you stuck.
And then imagine from your feet.
You can start to infuse your body with clarity.
With alignment.
With strength.
With focus.
As those emotions or energies at your feet start to receive energy from the earth,
It can flow up through your feet and your legs,
Into your body as light.
Pure white light,
Sunlight,
Moonlight.
Moving and clearing through your body as.
A gift,
A blessing from the Earth?
Or your choice to hand over the emotion of regret that was not serving you.
As the light moves up through your body,
It can go into any of the places where regret had been stored and rinse.
Transmute,
Alchemize,
Light up the inside of your body.
With alignment,
Purity.
Focus,
Joy.
Feel how your feet are still grounded and steady and present.
And the inside of you.
Is something new,
Something clearer,
Refreshed from what you have released.
With your feet firmly connected to our planet,
Straighten your spine.
Allow yourself to feel the support at your back from the earth,
From yourself.
Open your shoulders and allow your heart to relax.
To receive the support from the earth.
To love yourself.
Enough to choose to let go of the regrets.
And to open up your heart for more love.
From this space of clarity.
And then take a moment.
To be in this energy.
You can imagine yourself being bathed with moonlight.
And then slowly,
As you feel ready,
Go ahead and open your eyes.
Allow yourself to take in just one or two things in front of you as you start to come out of the meditation space.
So I'm holding a crystal in my hand.
I'm starting to wiggle my fingers around the crystal.
So maybe you want to wiggle your fingers,
Your feet,
And start to allow your eyes to take in more of the room that you are in,
The space that you are in for this meditation.
What I am finding is the blending of the two,
The inner and the outer,
Is becoming more malleable.
That the inner landscape of meditation is being reflected in the external reality at a faster pace.
And so your choice to meditate allows you to harmonize both realities,
Inner and outer.
Thank you for meditating with me.
I send you so much love at this full moon in Pisces eclipse,
And I look forward to seeing you in one of our lives soon.
So much love.
