Hello and welcome to our community meditation space.
My name is Vivian Girard and it is my delight to be guiding us in a meditation called Chakra Play.
Humanity is in a time of moving through Pluto from Capricorn into Aquarius and as we flow into that collective energy,
Collaboration is going to become more of how we navigate this human realm.
I thought it would be fun to play with that here on Insight Timer in our meditation space and so in these Chakra Plays I invite musicians who are also teachers here on Insight Timer to join me and to bring their unique creative energy into this standard track that I am forming in this moment called Chakra Play.
You have a live experience of co-creation that you can also add your energy into through this experience of meditation.
Let us begin.
With breath as always,
Go ahead and breathe deeply down all the way down into your body,
Inviting more of your awareness to come down into this present moment.
Our chakras are the homes for the energy,
The consciousness that is held here in the human body and when we are present in our human body we can experience the power of our chakras at a whole more expansive,
Bigger level.
So just focus for a moment with your breath,
Bringing your energy down into your body,
Relaxing the muscles as you do that,
Allowing it to be an easy landing,
Your awareness being called home to your human form.
And now let's play,
Let's have some fun in our chakras.
It is meant to be a pleasurable experience,
To be energy that takes on the human condition and so let's bring our awareness all the way through our bodies down to our feet and begin with what I like to call the Gaia Chakra,
Our connection from our feet into the planet energy,
The consciousness of Earth which many of us call Gaia.
So from the bottoms of your feet,
Imagine you can visualize grounding roots that connect you into the earth,
Much like a tree,
Like plants.
Perhaps you like to see it more as energy,
Light,
Chords like in the tree of life in Avatar.
Whatever ways feel true to you,
Relax your muscles and allow your feet to root you into the planet.
And this isn't rooting you into humanity,
It's connecting you in with a consciousness of Earth,
The energy that creates the cycles of nature,
That holds this planet steady in its orbit around the Sun.
The energy of Gaia that has regenerated and recreated through all of the ages and evolutions of physical structure here on Earth.
It is a powerful energy.
And when you connect your feet into the energy of Gaia,
You can release from your feet anything that no longer serves you in this moment.
It's like connecting the sewer lines from the house to the sewer plant.
You can detoxify,
It's a funny image,
But you can detoxify your body of any beliefs,
Stagnant energy,
Thoughts,
Emotions that simply no longer are necessary in this moment.
Relaxing your muscles and allowing the connection to be a familiar landing.
Here you are,
The human body,
Planting your feet on the planet and synchronizing,
Connecting in with Gaia.
As you release whatever is ready to go,
Imagine you can seal your feet shut.
Not permanently,
But just for this time of meditation.
The sealing of your feet can be porous,
Meaning if you want to release energy through your feet out,
It just happens automatically.
But you're going to have an experience of holding your own energy in your body,
Filling yourself up with you.
So as you seal your feet shut,
Imagine you can start to call more of your energy,
Your consciousness,
All the way down through your body to your feet,
Filling yourself up from the inside with you,
Your energy,
Your awareness.
And as you do that,
Bring your awareness up to your root chakra.
So your feet,
Your legs are filled up with you,
And then you bring your awareness to your hips,
To your bottom.
And imagine you can create a container,
A holding of your energy in your root.
You can see it perhaps as a wide bowl that is as wide as your body,
And it holds the energy of your root chakra,
Which is a red color,
A vibrant red color.
And allow yourself to feel the energy of the root,
Which is,
I am safe.
I am here,
In this body,
In this moment.
I choose to be here,
In this body,
In this moment.
And I have the power to choose full presence.
And then see your root chakra at the base of your physical body,
The core of your body.
See your root chakra holding your energy inside and being activated with a red crystallized light,
Deep ruby red.
And it's an energy that is in motion inside of you.
It's not stagnant,
Like stagnant water.
It's a current and energy that is self-generating inside of your body.
As you bring your awareness to it and you activate the movement,
You expand and activate the amount of energy and life force that is in your root chakra.
And allow yourself to see it inside of you,
The energy in motion.
You can have it be slow,
In sort of a spiraling circular movement,
And see your root chakra filling up with your energy,
With red crystallized light,
Moving inside of you as wide as your hips.
And see your root chakra filled up.
Any places that feel tight or stagnant or unknown that in this moment can simply be released or transmuted,
Your own energy knows how to do that.
And then any stagnation,
Toxicity that's ready to be released just runs down through your legs and through your feet into that root or connection underneath,
Sending the toxicity down and through into Gaia to be released.
And then relax your body and allow your root chakra.
And then bring your awareness into your second chakra,
Right above the root.
Your second chakra is an orange color.
You can have whatever shade of orange feels good to you,
But see it in your root is bubbling up into your second chakra.
The second chakra is about receiving pleasure,
Joy in the human experience,
Our relationships,
Our connections to others.
Hear and bring to our chakras in meditation.
Ultimately say this,
There's more joy arriving,
There's more connection,
More play,
More of the good of life.
And so feel,
See your second chakra filling up with orange crystallized energy.
Any stuck,
Stagnant places,
Toxicity can just run down through your body to your feet and hand over to the earth,
Into the Gaia chakra.
Relaxing your muscles,
Allowing yourself to come up into the third chakra,
From right below our belly button to right up underneath our rib cage.
The third chakra is brilliant yellow,
Like the sun,
Illuminated source energy inside of our human experience.
The third chakra says I am,
I exist.
I am here with purpose.
I choose and I chose to be here.
And in every moment of awareness and meditation,
I choose again to be here and to embody more and more of who I am as the infinite in the human realm.
So allow your third chakra to light up with brilliant yellow sunshine.
As you see that yellow light moving,
Generating more of you inside of you,
It will show you the places inside of your third chakra that are perhaps hiding or not wanting to be fully visible yet,
Not wanting to be understood fully yet.
It's okay.
Allow the light to just gently move through your third chakra.
As you illuminate more of yourself to you inside of the meditation space,
It will naturally ripple out into the expression that most serves you externally in your reality.
And so for now,
You simply allow the yellow sunshine to create and generate more and more light inside of your third chakra.
Relaxing your muscles,
Allowing it to be play,
Creativity bubbling up from the second chakra into your third and showing you more of yourself to you first.
Any places that are ready to be cleared,
Toxicity to be moved,
You just run all of that energy that's ready to go down through to your feet and relaxing your muscles.
Chakras are meant to be played and experienced with so much pleasure for the magic of what it is.
So allow your body to be cued to safety,
To joy,
To play.
And bring your awareness up into your heart chakra.
The heart chakra goes from our rib cage up to our shoulder blades and it stretches out as wide as our arms and our hands.
So feel how big your heart chakra is.
The heart chakra in its activation is green.
Whatever shade of green feels in alignment for you and that shade of green can ebb and flow and change.
There are so many shades of green.
And so trust what feels true for you in this moment.
And for now,
Focus on the green energy,
The green light of the heart chakra being held in the core of your body frame.
So your chest,
Your rib cage,
Your back,
The spinal column up to your shoulders.
And feel and see the energy,
The green energy,
The light moving inside of your body.
Perhaps at first it's a gentle little nudge of movement and then it becomes a little more playful,
A little larger inside of your heart,
Your heart chakra.
Our heart chakra holds memories of all that the heart experiences and feels.
And sometimes when the heart feels pain,
It can hold on to that pain,
Lock into that story or belief,
And then it protects the heart chakra.
And so the most powerful way to play with the energy inside of our heart is to love ourselves first.
To allow that green energy and light and movement to be for us inside first.
To fill our own heart chakra up with love for us individually.
As we become more comfortable with the movement,
The amount of green energy in our heart chakra and the flow and the light that is moving inside of ourselves,
Then we can begin opening our arms and extending it out to all of those around us,
Whoever we feel called to exchange energy with in our heart chakra.
The arms hug people close to bring them into our experience of love and to give to them our experience of love.
When it comes from a heart chakra that is filled up,
Overflowing with the abundance of this green energy,
Our hands and arms are literally buzzing with the desire to share how much overflow we have.
And so fill yourself up first in your heart chakra.
See that green energy inside of your heart,
Moving and clearing and releasing any stories that are ready to go.
The energy that's in motion,
That is fueling the second chakra,
Which is orange energy,
Circling,
Moving,
Generating more that is flowing up into the third chakra with the inside of your body,
Running up into your heart chakra that is filled with this green life force.
And all of that energy that is generated inside of you is bubbling up into your throat chakra from the tops of your shoulder blades all the way up to underneath your eye sockets.
Your throat chakra is your throat to the base of your spinal column at your neck,
Your ears,
Your mouth,
Your nose.
The throat chakra says I hear and I speak.
The throat chakra has much to express when it's being resourced by all of the energy that is flowing up from the root all the way through to the throat chakra.
It is filled with brilliant blue crystallized energy,
Like the sky on a beautiful September day where there are just white clouds off in the distance,
Brilliant sunshine and every shade of blue is vibrantly alive in the sky.
That is the color of the energy that can move through your throat chakra.
What happens when we start to activate that brilliant blue light crystallized energy inside of our throat chakra is that stagnant energy is starting to be moved at the same time and so sometimes our ears pop,
Our jaw has to be unclenched or wiggled a little bit.
There might be congestion at the back of the throat that starts to clear so we're coughing.
Our nose might start to leak,
Run a little bit because energy is starting to move.
We may hear a ringing in our ears because the frequency is shifting inside of the chakra.
As all of that happens bring your attention to your feet and how solidly planted you are in this moment and how connected you are to the earth.
So ground your energy into your body as you're activating this higher chakra inside the body.
So feel how it happens simultaneously.
You are connected to the earth,
You are present in your body and you are attuning to a higher frequency through your throat chakra.
Trust how the energy wants to move and see your throat chakra filling up more and more light,
Energy,
Consciousness inside of your throat chakra.
Clearing out any stagnation by running it all the way down through to your feet and then handing that energy over to the earth.
Steadying yourself in your body and feeling your feet are planted,
Connected to Gaia.
Your root chakra is activated alive with red energy.
Your second chakra with orange energy filled up to overflowing.
Your third chakra brilliant yellow sunshine inside of your body.
Your fourth chakra,
Your heart activated with green life force.
Your throat chakra listening and sharing and feeling as the blue September sky is activated inside of your physical body.
And then bring your awareness into your third eye chakra from the base of your eye sockets to the middle of your forehead almost to your hairline.
I see the chakra as purple,
A beautiful deep plum purple color.
Wisdom from beyond the beyond that is activated by your own intuition,
Your connection to source God,
The universe,
Divinity,
All one.
It's your own knowing inside of you allowing you to see,
To see beyond the physical,
To connect to energy consciousness,
Timelines,
Memories,
Other dimensions,
Other realms in ways that are embodied.
When we activate the third eye chakra in this way where it's coming from a grounded connection to Gaia,
All of the chakras in our body strong,
Steady,
Activated within ourselves.
When the third eye chakra is turned on in this way,
When we self-generate within our own physical structure,
This purple light,
It's an awareness,
An intuitive understanding that we can begin to trust because it's connected to this human experience,
This human story that our soul chose to live at this time on our planet.
If you feel a little rush or a dizziness,
Focus again on your feet,
Ground yourself into this moment.
You might start to feel the buzz of energy through all the chakras because so much is building one on top of the other.
So you just focus on your feet.
You feel your connection to Gaia.
You feel the power in your root chakra.
You're able to hold so much more of your own energy than we realize because we've learned in this realm to not always be fully in the body.
And so in this moment,
As you fill yourself up with you,
Your own energy regenerating inside of yourself,
Your third eye can light up.
It can begin to show you awarenesses that have been tickling at the back of your head,
Tapping,
Tapping,
Tapping,
Wanting to get your attention.
And here is this opportunity where your own intuition can begin to play and show you.
So any resistance,
Doubt,
Fear,
Toxicity,
Stagnation,
Just send it all the way down through to your feet,
Relaxing your body and allowing yourself to bring your awareness,
Your attention to your crown chakra from the base of our hairline to as high above our head as we're open to receiving.
The crown chakra is our connection to the infinite.
It's the portal through which the soul enters into the human experience as physical form.
And so trust what you feel from your third eye as you bring your awareness to your crown chakra.
It is white light.
It can be as narrow as a little tube that perhaps you've been running consciousness through,
Just a little tiny straw connection,
A hairline connection at your crown to the infinite.
Or it could be as wide as your body,
A huge funnel that white light is constantly resourcing,
Bringing more of the infinite consciousness in every moment.
There's no wrong way or better way.
It's simply what your chakra is in this moment and you can shift it at any time.
So relax your muscles and allow yourself to tune into where your crown chakra is connected.
What your word or definition would be for the energy that brings you life force that connects you to.
This is where our minds can sometimes want to put words and context and structure around an energy,
A frequency that is indefinable beyond words.
And so imagine you can see white light purifying your mind,
Infinite consciousness clearing any blocks or resistance that may have gathered in your crown chakra as you function here in the human realm.
And perhaps invite your crown chakra to be cleared by the divine,
By your own awareness,
By all of the energy that is resourcing your humanness from your feet through your root chakra all the way up.
And see that white light in your crown chakra slowly moving if it has been stagnant.
Clearing,
Rinsing any resistance,
Any doubt and sending anything that is ready to be released all the way down through your body to your feet.
Body as you activate your chakras and play in this collaborative co-creative energy with the musicians that bring their magic,
Their frequency,
Their play into our mix.
Feel what it's like to be you,
One of the collaborators in this beautiful moment of meditation that we are able to access through technology and an app here in this human moment on our planet Earth.
The pure magic of this even being possible,
How incredible,
How glorious it is to be a soul embodied in human form at this time,
Frequency allowing our musicians to bring their unique extra flavor through at this time and sparkle up the chakras.
