Chapter 18 Enro stretched his legs out on the sand,
Wiggling his toes to move the energy through,
Feeling some of the tension leaving his body.
The top half of his body lying flat on the beach blanket,
His legs soaking in the heat radiating from the sand,
He slowly exhaled.
Sunshine,
Beach,
A day off work,
And Dahlia by his side,
His heart could feel the perfect peacefulness available in this moment.
Turning his head to the right,
He opened his eyes under his sunglasses.
How is it possible that this beautiful woman is right here next to me,
He thought.
It still feels like I'm dreaming sometimes,
He said out loud to Dahlia.
Turning to look at him,
She smiled.
Me too.
Isn't it an incredible dream?
Yes,
He said,
Reaching over a few inches to take her hand in his.
Closing his eyes again,
Enro allowed his awareness to take in more of the details of this moment.
He could hear the group of children at the edge of the waves,
Laughing and splashing,
Their joy in a day at the beach creating a sound that resonated as pure joy to his own system.
He could hear the music playing from a speaker further down to his left.
He remembered seeing a group of teenagers settling in near the volleyball nets as he and Dahlia arrived earlier this afternoon.
Yes,
As he focused on it,
He could hear them laughing and teasing each other,
The sound of the ball hitting their hands.
The music,
The laughter,
So sweet.
As he focused on the waves and their rhythm,
He could hear off to the right where the waves were loudly hitting the base of the cliff that protected this area of the beach.
That sound felt like safety in his ears,
Protection,
Almost like a clock ticking as the minutes went by,
A steady rhythm.
Feeling so relaxed by the harmony of sounds moving around him and the warm sunshine on his body,
Enro could feel himself getting sleepier.
His breathing slowed and deepened.
Enro heard the sounds before he saw the spray of water.
It sounded like a jet engine roaring towards the beach coming straight towards him.
He sat up and felt Dahlia's hand squeezing his as she sat up at the same time.
They both turned to look at each other in disbelief.
Now?
Here?
In this moment?
Turning to look out at the water,
They could see the spray of water a few kilometers from the beach,
Appearing to be as high as the cliff to their right.
From the beach,
The spray of water appeared to be moving in one direction,
Vertically,
From the ocean up into the sky,
Becoming mist,
Almost like Niagara Falls in reverse,
Blowing from the ocean up into the sky.
The noise was almost overwhelming,
Making Enro's ears and head pound.
As they both looked at the wall of water,
They could see it was maybe a football field wide by two or three football fields tall.
It was hard to see where the spray was ending and turning into the mist.
While they both stared in amazement,
The vibration began in their heart chakra,
Feeling his shoulders widen as his heart felt like it was being pulled forward by a powerful magnet.
Enro could also feel his ears popping and his neck,
Head and jaw moving slightly to adjust to the shift in his shoulder blades.
A huge yawn moved through his body as his ears popped again.
All of this was happening as he could not stop staring,
Mesmerized by this image out on the water.
It was as if sunlight was captured in the center of the water and the water was glowing.
All of the spray that was flying off of it was shimmering and sparkling,
Like when the sunlight hits the ocean and it's that blinding light,
Almost impossible for the eyes to receive.
That was what he was witnessing,
And it was activating this huge wave of energy in his heart.
His eyes started watering and he moved his hand up to wipe away the tears yawning again.
As the wave of energy moved through his heart chakra,
He could feel his body starting to relax.
A deep sense of calm and acceptance started moving from his heart down through the rest of his body,
Slowly,
As if every cell was being reprogrammed with a new frequency.
Slowly closing his eyes to be fully present with the shift in his body,
Enro could feel himself wanting to lie back down and relax on the blanket.
Lying in the sunshine,
Still holding Dahlia's hand,
He felt as if God,
Source,
The universe,
Had just washed him with grace.
He felt connected to everything,
The sunshine,
The light,
The sounds.
The sounds.
As that word arrived in his awareness,
He realized there had been no sounds.
There was no sound except for the rushing of the jet engine and the water.
Where were the sounds of the people?
His eyes snapped open under his sunglasses and he took in the scene of the beach.
Fitting up quickly,
He looked around as all of the sounds came rushing back in.
Yes,
There were the children,
Still laughing down by the waves.
Looking to his left,
He saw the game of volleyball still continuing,
And all of the families spread out on their towels and blankets around him.
To his right,
Yes,
The cliff was still there.
Turning to look ahead,
He saw just the gentle view of the waves coming in from the ocean.
No wall of water.
No dancing sunlight moving through this unknown image.
Turning to look at Dahlia,
He realized she was also fitting up,
Staring at him with wide eyes.
You saw it too,
She said,
With a smile and a tiny laugh of relief.
Yes,
Enro said.
I saw it and I felt it.
For myself.
Not through your dream,
But for myself.
He could feel the tears and the emotion moving through his body.
It was true.
What she kept seeing was true.
He saw it also.
Exhaling to calm his body that was filled with an intense wave of emotion,
Enro pulled Dahlia into his arms as they both quietly cried together.
What does this mean?
Enro asked.
We both can see it.
We are both experiencing it.
What does this mean?
I don't know,
But I'm not afraid anymore,
Dahlia replied.
Whatever this energy is,
It's coming to us in love.
And I trust love.
Yes,
Enro said with another deep exhale.
As he tuned back into the peacefulness in his heart,
He had never experienced a sense of wholeness in this way before.
Surpassing even the bliss of the moments of intimacy he and Dahlia created together.
This was something transcendent.
Slowly exhaling into Dahlia's hair as he turned his head to rest against hers.
Something is happening,
Dahlia,
And it is coming through you.
I trust you.
I trust what is flowing through you,
And I am right here by your side as we continue to receive guidance.
He could feel Dahlia's body melt more into his.
Gently lying them both down on the blanket,
Removing his sunglasses and looking directly in the eyes of this woman he adored,
Enro smiled.
I don't know what it all means,
But I'm here for it with you.
And it feels incredible.
Lying on their sides,
Grinning like fools,
Filled with peace and delight,
They both knew this moment marked another turning point in their journey together.
