Let us bring our awareness to the room we are in.
Is it very bright,
Or dull,
Cool,
Or warm?
And how do you feel in this room?
Do you like being in this room?
Is it a familiar room?
Now,
I would like for you to focus on your own screen time.
Focus on yourself inside of this room.
Bring your attention to your own body.
Become aware of your legs,
Your arms,
Your head,
And see if you can let them feel heavy.
Whatever supports you,
A chair,
Perhaps the bed,
Or even the floor,
Allow it to really support you.
So let yourself be heavy.
Heavy as a rock,
Heavy as a boulder,
Or even as heavy as a mountain.
Very good.
Can you now focus on your breathing?
Are you able to feel your breath as it comes in and out?
And as it comes out,
Relaxing,
Breathing,
In and out.
I'm going to say a number.
And each number,
You hear me say,
Your breath will become deeper.
And it will leave you feeling so good,
Calm,
And peaceful.
One.
Relax into the moment.
Two.
Breathe in and breathe out.
Three.
Other thoughts may come,
And simply release them back to my voice.
Now,
In your mind,
I would like for you to picture the coolest looking tablet ever.
Perhaps it's your favorite color,
Or maybe even a few colors.
Stickers.
Glitter.
Maybe even fun handles coming out of the sides.
The screen on this tablet turns on,
And you see a familiar place.
It is your favorite place.
Can you see it?
If there are many favorite places coming up on this tablet screen,
Go ahead and pick only one for now.
And let it fill the screen.
Can you see all of the things that you love about your favorite place?
What about the sounds?
What can you hear in this place?
Are there sounds of nature?
Perhaps music?
Other people talking?
Can you feel anything here?
Maybe a breeze?
The feeling almost of butterflies fluttering in your belly as you feel the excitement of your favorite place on the screen.
What can you feel?
What does the ground feel like that you're standing on?
Are you outside?
Maybe you're feeling the sun?
Or maybe you're inside,
And what does that feel like to you to be in this place?
Are there any familiar smells in this place?
Take a moment and take in those smells that are present in this place.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Just loving the feeling of being in this place.
You are staring so close at all of the great details of your favorite place that you haven't even noticed.
You are now really there.
Inside your tablet.
Inside of your favorite place.
And you did this magical thing.
You brought yourself here.
Enjoy this time to look around and feel all that comes to you in this favorite place.
What is it that makes this your favorite place?
Is it the location?
Perhaps the people,
If there are any with you?
How does this make you feel to be in your favorite place?
Whatever comes up for you,
Just look at it.
Just observe it.
Take in this moment and this awesome opportunity to be inside your tablet.
Inside your favorite place.
It just feels so right in here.
All else about the world fades away only for a little bit.
Feeling your body,
Feeling your breath in this favorite place.
Slowly now,
It is time to come back out of this favorite place.
As you slowly begin to come back out of the tablet.
In whatever way.
Sounds great to you.
Perhaps floating out.
Flying.
Walking.
Whatever way to travel.
Sounds the best to you.
And as you are coming out of this tablet feeling so nice and so relaxed.
You still feel this fun place is with you.
Perhaps tucked into a special part of your heart.
And that the feelings you have in this place are invited to be with you.
As I count down from three to one.
You will be returning back to the room.
Back to either the ground,
The chair,
The bed.
Wherever you are.
And keeping this relaxed state with you.

Looking at your cool tablet with the image of your favorite place.
As the screen slowly dims to off.

Breathing into your belly so deep.

Gently becoming aware of your body.
And the room you are in.
Perhaps opening your eyes.

And drifting off to sleep.
