We often grind through the day, depriving ourselves of a necessary and sacred pause. This seven minute pause is a guided meditation to ensure your nervous system doesn't get neglected. Join me to take a moment to arrive into your body, allowing your mind to rest in the felt senses of the body, and release any stories that aren't serving you.

Welcome to this sacred pause.

I'm Jonna,

And this is your moment to take that pause.

You need to do nothing.

This is about simply being,

Not doing,

Not striving,

Simply taking a well-deserved and necessary moment to arrive.

Arrive first into your body.

Notice all of the felt senses,

Any movement,

Internal movement,

Breathing,

Any tightness,

Any stiffness,

Any pain,

The rhythms of the body,

Your heartbeat,

Maybe you're triggered,

Maybe you're relaxed,

Maybe you're exhausted.

Just let it be felt.

Allow your mind to notice what your body's feeling.

Whatever is being felt is valid.

This is your moment.

As your mind becomes aware of what your body is experiencing,

You may feel judgment.

Thoughts might pop up,

So just bring yourself back to my voice each time there's a distraction.

Focus still on the body.

The body is grounded.

The body is here,

And your mind is aware of your body.

Now,

Let's bring awareness to the stories of the mind in this moment.

Let's release a story.

What can you let go of?

What is your mind clinging to?

Let's just arrive there.

Let's take a moment,

Acknowledge it.

Let it become known in the present.

It is just a story of the mind.

Let's replace it for this pause.

Let's let the mind focus on this moment of pause,

On this moment of arriving back into the body.

Your body is here.

Your mind is with it.

Let your mind have a break,

This sacred pause,

To just focus on sensing with the body,

Without the burden of the stories of the mind.

The body can also move on command gently.

Join me to take a breath as we focus on this intentional movement of the body.

Inhale with me.

Exhale with me.

And let that exhale linger,

And then release it.

Let the breath become effortless and natural.

Whatever natural breathing is in this moment,

Allow it.

This is your pause,

The sacred pause for the busy stories of the mind.

Notice now your mind and your body are together in this moment.

When you focus on the body,

Your mind connects with it.

And when the mind allows the body to feel,

There's a harmony that creates a moment where the mind has arrived into the body,

And you can hold onto that moment as long as it serves you.

Now,

This is your sacred pause,

Your moment to arrive.

The mind arrives into the body and lets go of the stories from outside the body.

Stories from the past,

Stories of the future.

This moment is now.

Gently open your eyes.

You can take another one whenever your body tells you it's needed.
