Hello my beautiful friends,
Welcome to another guided meditation with me Jess.
Today I have a meditation for you that will take you on a journey for reflections at the pond.
As 2025 comes to a close many of us spend a lot of time in deep reflection and this meditation is designed to help guide you on a reflective journey inward.
So find a comfortable place to sit or lie down and we'll get started.
Begin by taking a nice big breath in and out.
Letting yourself settle into the moment one breath at a time.
Breathing in and settling that breath in your body.
Allowing your brow to soften,
Allowing your jaw to relax,
Allowing your shoulders to fall away from your ears as you come more into your body through your breath.
Breathing in and out.
As you begin to settle more into your being,
Into this space,
Let us venture out on our meditative walk to the pond.
Allowing your mind's eye to see each step one foot in front of the other as you begin to walk towards the water's edge.
Feeling the ground beneath you,
Feeling the air all around you.
Breathing in and out.
Find a nice place to sit here at the reflective pond and begin to focus on the water's surface.
Letting the ripples and distortions slowly start to fade away.
Allowing the stillness to come into view and also to come into your being.
Breathing into your body and releasing with each exhale.
And as you sit at the water's edge,
Allowing the surface to become calm,
Allow this reflection of the sky on the pond to invite your own inner reflections to the surface.
Sitting with anything that comes up with curiosity and compassion.
If anything arises that causes ripples to form within,
Allow those waters to be settled by coming back to your breath.
Breathing in and following that breath all the way in and breathing out,
Following that breath all the way back out again.
Bringing that surface back to its reflective state,
Allowing for more of your own reflections to come to the surface.
Reflections are what allow us information for growth or expansion into our higher selves.
Reflection is the initiation of change and the reminder of what is important in this sacred practice of seeing ourselves right where we stand,
Exactly as we are.
Allow whatever reflections that come to the surface for you to provide the nourishment needed for your spiritual growth.
Taking another moment here to let anything else that needs to be seen float up to the surface,
Allowing yourself that space,
Time and energy to be fully seen.
Whenever your mind starts to wander away from practice,
Allowing yourself that space.
Bring yourself back into the moment,
Into your body,
By following your breath,
Breathing in and out,
Coming back to the reflective pond and your own reflections.
Continue breathing at the water's edge,
Taking one last moment for any reflections to come through and slowly begin to walk back to where you came from.
One foot in front of the other,
Bringing attention and awareness to the ground beneath your feet.
Begin to shift your focus simply back to your breathing,
Letting go of any images in the mind's eye.
Simply breathing in and out,
Taking a moment in this relaxed and open energy space to give yourself honor and gratitude for taking the time to reflect inward and connect with that inner part of self.
And slowly begin to bring your attention and awareness back to your physical body,
Maybe by wiggling your fingers or toes,
Moving your neck side to side.
And when you're ready,
You can open your eyes and fully arrive back in the space.
Thank you so much for joining me today for this reflective guided meditation and I hope that you have a wonderful holiday season.
Namaste.
