Hello and welcome back to another guided meditation from Two Moons Wellness with me Jess.

Today's guided meditation is about cultivating joy.

So find a nice comfortable position either sitting down or lying down and allow yourself to get settled while we begin this meditation.

Take a nice deep breath in through your nose and gently exhale through your mouth.

Allow your shoulders to drop.

Let the breath become soft and natural.

Reminding yourself that there is nothing to change or fix.

Just allow yourself to arrive here as you are.

This is a meditation about noticing,

About slowing down enough to feel life again,

About rediscovering the joy that is already all around you and within you,

Quietly waiting to be seen.

Allow yourself to feel the gentle rhythm of your own breath,

The rise and fall of your chest,

The air moving through your nose,

The steady pulse of life that has carried you here.

Notice the small sensations,

The way that your body is connected to the ground beneath you or the chair under you,

The whisper of air on your skin.

Notice all the small natural sounds that exist in this moment.

There's no need to name or judge anything.

Just allow yourself to notice.

This is where joy begins in the art of noticing what is already there,

Breathing in and out.

Allow your awareness to expand outward.

Notice the textures of this moment,

The softness of the air,

The scent around you,

The quiet hum of life happening without any effort.

When we slow down enough to pay attention,

We see how rich each moment truly is.

The world is full of tiny gifts,

The warmth of sunlight,

The pattern of leaves,

The steady sound of your own breathing.

Joy hides in these small places,

In the ordinary details that we often rush past.

Take a deep breath and imagine yourself softening into this noticing.

Let the world reveal its beauty to you,

Breathing in and out.

Now bring your attention inward.

Notice what happens inside when you allow yourself to slow down.

Maybe your breath deepens.

Maybe your chest feels a little lighter.

Maybe you feel a quiet sense of gratitude rising up.

Let it be simple.

Joy doesn't have to be grand.

Joy can be found in a sip of warm tea,

In the sound of laughter,

In the way that the light moves across a wall.

Joy arrives when we are here,

Really here,

Open,

Unhurried,

And willing to see.

Take a few moments to silently observe three things that bring you comfort or ease in this moment.

They can be anything from the rhythm of your heart,

The feeling of breath,

The presence of stillness.

As you notice each one,

Quietly say to yourself,

This is the birthplace of joy.

Allow those words to sink in as your awareness wraps around the simplicity of being alive.

This is the practice to notice,

To appreciate,

And to let life touch you.

In this open space,

Offering yourself affirmations for joy,

I slow down and notice the beauty in the small things.

I open my heart to the simple moments of joy.

Joy lives in the ordinary,

And I am learning to see that.

Take one more full,

Big breath in and out,

Feeling your body anchored in this moment,

Grounded and alive,

Carrying this awareness with you as you walk gently through the rest of your day with the intention to notice.

Notice the color of the sky,

The warmth of a smile,

The texture of breath,

Because joy doesn't live in a distant,

Far-off place.

It's woven into every moment that you're willing to see.

Slowly begin to bring your attention and awareness back to your body,

Maybe by wiggling your fingers or toes,

Gently moving your neck from side to side,

And whenever you're ready,

You can open your eyes.

Thank you so much for joining me for this guided meditation on cultivating joy.

I hope that you have a lovely rest of the day.

Namaste.
