Welcome.
This is a short breathwork practice for moments when you feel tense,
Scattered,
Overstimulated,
Or simply need a reset.
You can keep your eyes open or allow them to close.
Sit or lie down in a position that feels comfortable.
There is nothing to force and nothing you need to achieve.
Begin by noticing your natural breath.
No judgment,
Just notice.
Now gently breathe in through your nose for a count of four.
Inhale.
2 3.
4 Then slowly breathe out for a count of six.
Exhale.
Two.
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six.
Again,
Breathe in gently.
2.
3.
.
.
4 and breathe out slowly too.
3.
.
.
4 5.
6.
Let your exhale remain soft and comfortable.
You do not need to empty your lungs completely.
Continue at this rhythm.
Inhale.
2.
3 4 Exhale,
2,
3,
4.
Five.
As you breathe,
Notice whether your shoulders can soften.
Notice whether your jaw can loosen.
Allow your hands to rest.
Nothing needs to change immediately.
You are simply giving your body a little more space.
Take another gentle breath in.
2 3.
4 and a longer breath out.
2.
3 4 Bye.
One more time.
Inhale.
2 three,
Four,
Exhale,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six.
Now release the counting and allow your breathing to return to its natural rhythm.
Notice what feels different,
Even if the change is small.
Perhaps your breath feels slower.
Perhaps your body feels slightly softer,
Steadier,
Or more present.
A small shift is enough.
Begin noticing the space around you.
Feel the surface supporting your body.
Gently move your fingers and toes.
Carry this reminder with you.
I do not have to force myself into calm.
I can meet my body with one gentle breath at a time.
When you are ready.
Continue with your day.
Thank you for breathing with me.
