Take a moment to arrive.
You don't have to fix anything right now.
You don't have to force yourself calm.
Just notice that you are here.
Let your shoulders soften.
Let your jaw unclench.
Let your hands rest.
Take a slow breath in through your nose and exhale gently through your mouth.
Again,
Breathe in slowly and let the exhale be a little longer.
Sometimes our bodies hold more than we realize.
Stress,
Worry,
Fear,
Tension,
Responsibility.
But in this moment you are allowed to pause.
You are allowed to come back to your breath.
Place one hand over your heart if that feels comfortable and quietly remind yourself,
My body is trying to protect me.
I can meet it with gentleness.
Now breathe in peace.
Exhale tension.
Breathe in safety.
Exhale what you do not need to carry right now.
Let your breath be simple,
Not perfect,
Not deep,
Just present.
You are not behind.
You are not broken.
You are learning to return to yourself with compassion.
Take one more slow breath in and a soft breath out.
When you are ready,
Gently notice the room around you.
Feel the support beneath you and carry this reminder with you.
I can pause.
I can breathe.
I can begin again.
