Hello and welcome to your yoga nidra practice especially for sleep. This special yoga nidra meditation will guide you into deep, full body relaxation and sound sleep. I will not be guiding you out from the practice and the music will continue to play for another few minutes-allowing you to drift off into a restful sleep. What is yoga nidra? This is a type of effortless meditation where you are guided into a state of consciousness known as the 'yogic sleep'. It's where your body sleeps, but your mind is awake with trace awareness. The practice is profoundly healing on all levels and it has been studied scientifically for many years-proving the efficacy of the technique. This practice can help with insomnia, anxiety, looping thoughts, trauma and so much more.
