Hello and welcome to week one of the Awaken and Align Breathwork and Meditation series.

My name is Kavita and I will be guiding you through your practice.

Week one is focused on compassion and creativity.

Tonight's practice includes humming bee breath,

Guided visualization,

And an affirmation.

Let's get started.

Please come to a comfortable position,

Either seated or lying down.

If you're seated,

Straighten your spine while you relax your shoulders back.

Maybe find some slow movements with your neck and notice if you're holding on to any tension.

Now is the perfect time to release that.

As the evening settles in,

Allow yourself to unwind and tap into the flow of your intuition and creativity.

I invite you to either lower your gaze or close your eyes and begin to slow your breath.

Allow your inhales to lengthen and allow your exhales to lengthen.

Tonight's breathwork practice is called humming bee breath.

In this practice,

The gentle humming sound creates vibrations that calm your mind and enhance intuition.

To begin,

You'll inhale deeply through your nose,

Starting from your lower belly and coming up to your throat.

As you exhale,

Keep your lips together and softly hum like a bee until you run out of breath.

If you feel like exploring with this breath,

Another option is to take one finger from each hand.

I use my pointer fingers.

And place one finger on the outer flap of each ear,

Also known as your tragus.

You will still inhale deeply,

Starting from your lower belly,

Bringing the air all the way up to your throat.

And as you exhale and hum,

Gently press your fingers onto your ear flap.

This allows you to hear and feel the vibrations from the humming.

We will do this for a total of five times,

And I will join you.

Let's begin.

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

Filling up from your lower belly and bringing your breath up.

Exhale by humming.

Notice how that felt in your body.

We're going to do this four more times.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and let it go.

Deep breath in.

Again,

Deep inhale.

Hum to exhale.

Last time,

Deep breath in,

Fill up your ribcage,

Bring the air all the way up to your throat.

And exhale.

If your hands are at your ears,

Bring them to a comfortable spot.

Maybe on your lap or at your sides.

And continue breathing deeply.

Notice how that felt in your body.

Picture yourself sitting beside a still body of water,

Like a lake,

River,

Sea.

The water is calm and reflective,

Mirroring the stars above.

Gently,

The water ripples,

Forming images of inspiration.

Maybe you see visions.

Maybe new ideas come to mind.

Possibly messages.

Allow your intuition to bring forth guidance in this quiet space.

If you don't see anything beyond the water,

That's okay.

Allow yourself to be shown.

No need to force.

Tonight's affirmation is,

I trust my inner vision and allow creativity to flow.

I invite you to either say this to yourself internally or out loud.

I trust my inner vision and allow creativity to flow.

Take a deep breath in.

Open mouth.

Exhale.

I trust my inner vision and allow creativity to flow.

When you're ready,

Take another deep breath in.

And exhale fully.

Return to the present moment,

Knowing that your creativity and intuition will continue to flow effortlessly,

Even in your dreams.

I wish you a wonderful and peaceful night's rest.
