Welcome to Week 2 of the Awaken and Align Breathwork and Meditation Series.

My name is Kavita and I will be guiding you through your practice.

Week 2 is focused on passion and courage.

This morning's practice includes power breath,

Guided visualization,

And an affirmation.

Please come to a comfortable position,

Either seated or lying down.

If you're seated,

Straighten your spine while you relax your shoulders and neck.

Allow your body to relax as you tune into your breath.

Notice where your breath is right now,

Without judgment.

I invite you to lower your gaze or close your eyes as you focus inward.

Good morning and welcome to a brand new day.

This morning's meditation is on a bold and fearless start.

The intention for this morning is to activate your inner fire,

Empowering you to step forward with confidence and passion.

As you wake up,

You have the opportunity to step into your power,

Move through the day with boldness,

And embrace your true strength.

Let's begin by connecting with the breath.

The breath work practice for this morning is called power breath,

Or 2-4 breathing.

With this technique,

You will inhale through your nose for a count of 2,

And exhale through your mouth for a count of 4.

We're going to do this for 5 rounds.

Let's begin.

Inhale deeply through your nose.

Exhale slowly through your mouth.

Let's repeat.

Breathe in.

Release your breath.

Deep inhale.

Slow exhale.

Fill your lungs with air.

Let it go.

Last deep breath in.

Fully and slowly release it out.

Now begin to settle into your breath.

With every inhale,

Feel yourself drawing in fresh energy.

With every exhale,

Feel tension and hesitation melting away.

Inhale fresh energy.

Exhale,

Release tension.

As you breathe in and out,

You are stepping fully into your strength.

Now bring your awareness to the center of your chest,

Your heart space.

Imagine a warm,

Golden light glowing here.

The source of your personal power.

With every inhale,

This golden light grows brighter,

Expanding throughout your chest and radiating outward.

Now visualize yourself standing tall in the early morning sun.

The golden rays fill your entire body with strength,

Confidence,

And clarity.

You feel a deep sense of certainty in who you are.

As you take a deep breath in,

See yourself walking boldly through the day ahead.

Every step you take is grounded,

Assured,

And strong.

Every word you speak carries truth and confidence.

You radiate self-assurance,

And those around you feel your presence.

You allow your true self to shine.

You do not shrink.

You do not hold back.

This morning's affirmation is,

I move forward with confidence and passion.

I invite you to either repeat this silently to yourself or out loud,

And allow the words to resonate in your body.

Take one final deep breath in,

And exhale completely.

When you're ready,

Gently open your eyes or raise your gaze,

And carry this energy with you today.

Know that you are strong,

Capable,

And ready for anything.
