Hello and welcome to your inner warrior meditation.
For today's session I invite you to tap into your inner strength,
Your inner wisdom.
So allowing yourself to get really comfortable taking a few nice deep breaths in and out through the nose if you can.
Allowing your body to relax and allowing yourself to let go.
Let go of the day,
Let go of any worries.
Taking a moment to centre yourself knowing you are safe and protected and we have the energy here of Kuan Yin holding this space for us.
Now I would like you to take yourself to a time when you felt inner power,
When you felt a connection with your inner warrior.
This may have been a moment that was unexpected.
It could have been an action to a situation where you acted impurely from your gut,
From that instinctive place.
This could be a time when you had to be brave,
Be courageous,
Face a challenge in your life.
If you cannot think of a time where you've tapped into your inner warrior,
Your courage,
Then imagine,
Use your imagination.
It could be thinking of somebody like a superhero,
A superheroine,
Somebody whose strengths you admire and imagining how they would react,
How they would be in a certain situation where their courage is needed.
And I invite you to feel how this feels within your body.
How does your body feel when you tap into courage?
How does your body feel when you tap into your inner warrior?
Does it feel expansive?
Does it feel contractive?
Does it feel free?
Does it feel contained?
Explore the feelings within your body and see if a certain area of your body lights up.
You may find that you really feel it in your gut,
In your belly,
In the lower dantian.
You may feel it in your heart.
You may feel it in your chest,
In your head,
In your legs.
Just be open and ask your body to show you where you feel your courage right in this moment.
And now I invite you to think of a situation right now where you feel you may need courage,
Where you feel you may need to tap into your inner warrior.
What areas of your life maybe would you like to change?
And you need to stand up to that fear to help create the change.
Just bring that into your awareness.
Visualize yourself standing there or sitting.
Courageous,
Strong,
Centered,
Unmovable,
Unshakable,
Fearless in that moment.
Let's see how that feels within your body.
Encompass this feeling in your body.
Visualize yourself overcoming whatever this challenge is.
And again,
Taking a few deep breaths,
Deep,
Deep down into your belly.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Knowing that you can tap into this feeling within your body at any time.
Call upon your courage when needed.
Call upon your inner warrior when needed.
It's an aspect of you,
An aspect that you have drawn upon,
I'm sure,
More than once before.
You are courageous,
You are strong,
You are grounded,
And you are safe.
Big hugs and lots of love to you.
Now becoming aware of your feet,
Your hands.
Just give them a wiggle,
Bringing yourself firmly back into your body.
Opening your eyes.
Taking a few more breaths in and out.
Having a little shake,
A little move,
A little stretch.
I know you can tap into this meditation whenever you feel you want to tap into your courage.
