If you've been carrying too much for too long,
This pause is for you.
Hello,
I'm Tamron.
For the next few minutes,
You do not need to solve problems,
Care for anyone else,
Or keep holding everything together.
You only need to be here,
Right now,
Exactly where you are meant to be.
Take a slow,
Honest breath in,
And gently let it go.
This isn't the kind of breath that pretends everything is fine.
This breath is the kind that tells the truth.
You may be familiar with,
Or should I say,
All too familiar with,
The exhaustion of always being the reliable one,
The invisible labor no one sees,
The pressure of holding everyone together.
After a while,
Constantly tending to everyone else,
It slowly pulls you away from yourself.
Pause for a moment.
Notice,
Where is your body carrying the weight of today?
In your shoulders,
Your jaw,
Your chest,
Or maybe even your stomach.
No judgment,
No fixing,
Just noticing.
This practice is not about forcing ourselves to let it go.
Instead,
It is about learning how to stay present with yourself,
Without abandoning yourself.
Now imagine yourself standing in a quiet garden,
Simple,
Still,
Grounded.
As you look down,
You see a patch of rich soil,
The kind of earth that transforms what has been heavy into something that can support new growth.
The kind of soil that grounds,
That holds,
That's firm.
I invite you to gently notice what you've been carrying lately.
Maybe it's the pressure to keep everything together,
The guilt of not doing enough,
The exhaustion of being needed by everyone,
Or the fear that if you stop holding everything,
Things will fall apart.
One by one,
Place those burdens into that rich soil,
Not to erase them and not to deny them,
But to let them become something different.
Because even hard seasons can become part of our growth when we stop carrying them alone.
As some of that weight settles into the earth,
Notice what shifts inside your body.
Maybe your breathing slows,
Maybe your shoulders soften,
Maybe there is simply a little more space inside of you.
And this is what returning to yourself can feel like.
Not perfection,
Not instant peace,
Just a small movement towards steadiness.
Toward awareness.
Toward choice.
I invite you to listen to these affirmations and say them to yourself as you hear them read aloud.
I do not have to carry everything alone.
I can stay present without abandoning myself.
I'm allowed to tend to myself too.
I am growing,
Even in hard seasons,
Even in the darkness.
I can and I will choose a more life-affirming way forward.
Before you leave this space,
Remember this.
You were never meant to carry life without tending to yourself too.
In fact,
The care you offer yourself matters.
Especially in those moments that matter the most.
Take one deeper breath in.
Feel the support beneath you.
Notice the awareness that you've created.
And when you're ready,
Slowly wiggle your fingers and toes.
Take another little stretch as if you're waking up again.
And welcome back.
I'm Tamron,
And this has been a Seed and Sage meditation.
If this practice helped you feel a little more supported,
A little less alone,
I'd love for you to follow along with me here on Insight Timer.
You don't have to navigate hard seasons by yourself.
