Welcome to Seed&Sage.
My name is Tamron Jewell.
And this is commute ready.
A guided nervous system reset for the drive.
Keep your attention on the road.
Hands on the wheel.
And eyes open.
This is a guided reset.
For our nervous system.
As we drive.
And I'm really glad you're here today.
For the next few minutes,
Nothing is required from you except presence.
Simply.
Taking a few moments.
To come back to ourselves.
Because we are.
Deserve it.
You may have woken up already feeling behind.
Oftentimes,
We feel behind on energy.
On Rest.
Or on everything people need from us.
I know that feeling well.
The kind where the day starts before you've even had a chance to arrive in it.
The kind where your body keeps moving,
But part of you quietly disappears underneath the pace of it all.
That happens to a lot of people who care deeply.
Parents,
Caregivers,
Managers,
Teachers,
Nurses,
People who carry a heavy load.
So before the world asks more of you today,
Let's help you return to yourself.
By reconnecting.
You deserve it.
Take a slow breath in through your nose.
For four.
One more small inhale on top for two.
Now slowly exhale through your mouth for six.
Again,
In for four.
.
.
Top it off for two.
And a long exhale out for six.
Good.
Your nervous system appreciates it.
Even if your mind is still busy.
Now just notice your body for a moment.
We can't fix anything today.
But what we can do is choose to reconnect to it.
Unclench your jaw slightly.
And let your shoulders drop.
Ease your hands on the wheel.
And feel your body being supported by the seat beneath you.
You chose to give back to yourself this morning.
Let's appreciate that.
Let's also show gratitude for these quiet few minutes that allow ourselves to reset.
It's so easy for high functioning people to disconnect from themselves because functioning.
Really never stops.
You keep answering.
Helping.
Managing,
Holding everything together.
Eventually.
.
.
Your body starts operating on autopilot.
This is your interruption to that pattern.
A return to yourself.
Before the day fully takes over.
Take another breath in for four.
And slowly out.
For six.
Your nervous system really appreciates that.
And if you're feeling tired and exhausted,
It may simply mean you're carrying too much for too long without any recovery time.
Here's a gentle reminder.
You're allowed to respond to yourself with compassion.
You deserve to take care of yourself too.
It's not just important.
It's vital to the health and well-being of your mind and body.
I'm going to share some affirmations with you.
You're welcome to repeat them after me aloud.
Or silently in your own head.
I can care for others without abandoning myself.
I am allowed to take up space.
My value is not based on productivity.
I do not have to earn rest.
I can move through today without leaving myself behind.
Let's take one more full breath.
Slow inhale for four.
And a long exhale for six.
Good.
As you continue your drive,
Think of one small adjustment that would make today feel more life-affirming for you.
Most likely the day won't be perfect.
But how can you make it feel better?
More connected to yourself and more sustainable for yourself.
And remember.
Small changes matter.
Presence and practice grows that way.
I hope you can walk into the day a little more connected to yourself than you were earlier.
And that.
Matters.
So go out there.
Meet the day as yourself.
And make today count.
