Welcome to this guided meditation Learning to live without bracing Find a comfortable resting position Sitting or lying down Allow your body to settle And before you go anywhere else Let's bring the body into this moment Place one hand on your chest One hand on your belly Let your bottom hand gently rise With each inhale Allow your chest to soften Again,
Breathe in Feeling the lower lungs Let's do this two more times Slow inhale,
Belly expands Your nervous system Reads the length of your exhale as a signal A long exhale tells the body You can soften here Let's stay here for one more breath Let the belly rise You are breathing You are softening You are letting go Now gently bring your awareness to the part of you That learned how to survive The version of you who handled everything Stayed strong Moved quickly Solved problems See her She carried you through seasons that required strength Quietly whisper Thank you You did what you needed to do Now imagine her Gently stepping back Not disappearing Just resting She no longer has to stay alert She no longer has to hold everything together She is allowed to exhale And so are you Take a slow deep breath in Now imagine a softer version of you emerging Not smaller Not weaker Just steadier Rooted in calm Created from joy Moving at a pace that feels natural To your body See this version of you standing gently In front of you Her shoulders are relaxed Her breath is deep and unforced And there is nothing she is chasing She's not scanning for urgency She's not preparing for impact She is simply Present Notice what happens to your body When you observe her Does your chest soften?
Does your belly release?
Does your jaw unclench?
This version of you trusts space She understands that presence is enough She does not measure her value By productivity She does not measure Her worth by how much she carries She allows life to meet her Take a slow Deep breath in Long steady exhale out As you exhale Imagine stepping towards her Gently emerging Let her steadiness Settle into your shoulders Allow her calm to settle into your breath Feel her grounded energy Move through your spine You are not losing your strength You are transforming Transforming how you hold it Your strength now lives In softness In the ability to pause before responding In choosing When to engage and when to rest Take another Deep breath in Allow the calm to expand just a little more This is not emptiness This is space And space is where your next chapter grows If emotions arise,
Let them If restlessness shows up If nothing happens at all It's perfectly okay Integration does not always look dramatic It often looks subtle Almost invisible Something inside of you is reorganizing You are not falling apart You are rearranging around safety Take one more slow deep breath Let your body feel what it's like to exist without bracing Silently repeat I survived what I needed to survive I am allowed to soften I am safe in this new space Urgency does not define my value I can exist without bracing Take one final deep breath in Bring your awareness back into the room Notice how your body feels
