Hello,
My name is Summer and I am here with you today to guide you through a meditation for connecting with your spirit guide.
Take a comfortable position,
Allowing your body to settle,
Close your eyes and let your awareness gently turn inward.
We'll begin with three deep breaths together.
Breathing in at the count of four and breathing out to the count of eight.
Breathe in two,
Three,
Four.
Slowly exhale two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six,
Seven,
Eight.
And again two,
Exhale two,
Three,
Four.
And one last deep breath in two,
Three,
Four and exhale.
Now allow your breathing to return on its own nature,
Relaxed rhythm.
With each number I count,
You'll drift deeper into relaxation.
I'm going to count backwards from ten down to zero.
Ten letting go of our worries of the day.
Nine,
Releasing all that doesn't serve your higher self.
Eight,
Deeper now,
More and more at ease.
Seven,
Your body softening and relaxing.
Six,
A wave of calm moving through you.
Five,
Releasing all stress and tightness.
Four,
Drifting into serenity.
Three,
Deeper and deeper still.
Two,
Fully relaxed,
Safe and peaceful.
And zero,
Completely and fully relaxed.
Let your breath flow slowly and steadily as I guide you deeper now.
Another gentle countdown from five to zero.
And with each number you go twice as deep into your relaxation.
Five,
Sinking into comfort.
Four,
Deeper still.
Three,
Calm,
Open and light.
Two,
Floating gently.
One,
Completely surrendered to the relaxation and peace.
And zero,
Deeply relaxed,
Ready to journey.
Now imagine the crown of your head is a beautiful lotus flower.
Its petals begin to open gracefully.
From its center,
A shimmering silver thread stretches upward,
Delicate and radiant.
As you notice this simple thread,
Feel your awareness being gently drawn upward,
Higher and higher.
Until you reach your erythemic body.
Floating peacefully,
Mirroring the position of your physical body below.
Floating higher and higher.
Bring your full awareness into this image,
Becoming one with your higher self.
Notice how you float through time and space as if time no longer exists.
As you drift along,
A rainbow of colors passing through shimmering lights allow you to move effortlessly between realms.
It is as though you are returning through different stations of existence,
Each one unique.
Notice what surrounds you,
Perhaps radiant purples,
Vibrant blues or soft pastels.
Or maybe you find yourself in the comfort of velvet blackness dotted with gentle halos of spirit light.
Whatever you perceive at this time is perfect for you.
Now allow yourself to be joined by your spirit guide,
Or perhaps a loved one who has crossed before you.
Whoever arrives,
Know they are here to offer you loving support and guidance.
Communication here happens through thought,
Heart and knowing.
You may see them,
Hear them,
Feel their presence or simply sense their loving energy.
Take this time now to connect.
Ask your guide or loved one what wisdom they have for you at this moment.
Listen with an open heart.
Trust the images,
Words or feelings that arise,
Knowing that it's all for you at this perfect moment,
At this perfect place in time.
It's time now to thank your guide or loved one for their presence and wisdom.
Know that you can return to this place anytime,
Simply by imagining that beautiful lotus flower opening and following that silver thread upward.
The path is always clear for you.
Your spirit guides and loved ones are always with you and they are always near.
And now,
Follow my voice as we return to the present moment.
I'll count zero to five,
Bringing you back fully into awareness,
Refreshed and present.
Zero,
Slowly becoming aware.
One,
Noticing your heart and your breath.
Two,
Energy flowing through your body.
Three,
Aware again of the sounds around you in the room.
Four,
Gently moving your fingers and your toes,
Reconnecting with your physical self.
Five,
Eyes wide open and awake and grounded and you are fully present in the moment.
So take a moment here to breathe,
Smile and carry with you the peace and the guidance that you received.
