Hello my name is Annabelle and in today's meditation we are going to do a loving awareness meditation.

I always recommend starting with the self which was a previous meditation and today we are going to get to the second part of this buddhist tradition.

So the loving awareness meditation needs to start with the self before we can send it to others.

I recommend doing this meditation multiple times,

Setting the intention with different people.

First of all start it with something easy like someone you know you love,

A close friend,

A family member,

A partner.

Starting to love every single aspect of someone you already love.

Once you've done that a few times with people close to you,

Start to do it with people that you have resistance to sending love to but you know that need it.

You can also send this to absolute strangers you've seen on the street,

People you've seen online.

You can do this for every person and I recommend doing this with multiple different types of people in your life.

After this meditation there is one for the entire world as well,

So looking at the earth,

The physical aspect.

But we're slowly getting to love everything and everyone,

One person at a time.

So I recommend getting somewhere really comfortable so you can truly relax.

When you're ready,

If it feels good,

Shutting your eyes.

And I invite you to bring a visualization of someone in front of you.

If someone just popped into your head it means they're the person.

If not you can set your intention and choose someone to send loving awareness to today.

Taking a deep breath in and I'm going to say six phrases today and get you to repeat them.

We're going to do these six phrases multiple times.

Taking a deep breath,

Repeating after me,

Visualizing all versions of the person in front of you,

Present,

Past and future.

May you be safe.

May you be happy.

May you be healthy.

May you be free from suffering.

May be safe and protected.

May you live with ease and joy.

May you be safe.

May you be happy.

May you be healthy.

May you be free from suffering.

May you be safe and protected.

May you live with ease and joy.

May you be safe.
