Welcome to this Tapping Meditation for Father's Day.
Find a quiet,
Comfortable place to sit or lie down.
Close your eyes,
Take a few deep breaths,
And center yourself.
We'll be tapping on various points of the body,
While focusing on the positive and healing aspects of your relationship with your father.
Repeat each phrase after me,
Either out loud or in your mind.
Please take full responsibility for your own well-being.
And let's start by tapping on the karate chop point sides of the head.
Even though I have mixed feelings about my relationship with my father,
I deeply and completely accept myself.
Even though my relationship with my father has its challenges,
I choose to find peace and healing today.
Even though Father's Day brings up a lot of emotions,
I honor my feelings and choose to focus on love and gratitude.
Let's go to the eyebrow points,
All these feelings about my father.
Sides of the eye,
The good times and the challenges.
Under the eyes,
I honor the role he has played in my life.
Under the nose,
And the emotions I feel today.
Chin,
I release any resentment and pain.
Colorbone,
And embrace forgiveness and understanding.
Under the arm,
I am grateful for the lessons learned.
Top of the head,
And the love that has been shared.
Let's go to the eyebrow points again.
I choose to focus on the love and kindness.
Sides of the eye,
Remembering the good moments we've shared.
Under the eyes,
I appreciate the strength and support he has given.
Under the nose,
I embrace the positive qualities I see in him.
Chin,
I release any lingering negative emotions.
Colorbone,
And open my heart to healing and love.
Under arm,
I am thankful for my father's presence in my life.
Top of the head,
Today I celebrate my father with peace and gratitude.
Take a deep breath in,
Hold it for a moment,
And then exhale slowly.
Just notice how you feel.
Repeat this meditation as often as needed to cultivate a sense of peace and appreciation for your father.
