Welcome to this yoga nidra practice for deep regeneration.
I'm inviting you to find your place for this practice.
Let yourself settle as if the earth herself were receiving you.
Your body can soften,
Spread out,
Become heavy.
The ground beneath you holds you patiently,
Unconditionally.
With a love that asks for nothing.
Feel your weight flow down.
Every fiber releasing.
Take a deep breath in and slowly out.
Deep in.
With every breath you are arriving more fully in this moment,
In this body,
In this breath that carries you.
Let your muscles soften.
Let your thoughts sink like dust into clear water.
Let gravity embrace you so gently that you remember how it feels to be touched by stillness.
The earth breathes with you.
It listens.
Nothing separates you from the pulse of life beneath you.
You are safe.
Inviting you to listen inward.
Behind all thoughts,
Behind the noise of the day,
Something is listening.
From this quiet,
Perhaps a soft intention arises.
A gentle remembering of who and what you truly are.
It may sound something like,
I am safe right here,
Right now.
A heartfelt intention spoken in present time.
Or perhaps,
I am open to receive what nourishes me.
Or even simpler yet,
I am.
Move with the intention that resonates as truth in your heart and body.
And whisper it silently within you.
Three times.
Not as a command,
But as a promise to your heart.
Like a seed resting in fertile soil.
Ready to rest.
Ready to bloom when the time is right.
Now let your awareness flow through your body.
Feel your pelvis.
The place where life meets earth.
Now,
Slowly,
With a dream-like quality,
Travel through your body.
Beginning with your right leg.
Unfolding in sunlight.
Your left ankle.
Opening softly,
The breath flowing through them.
Your pelvis.
That tender space between earth and breath.
Move up into your belly.
Feel how the breath rocks it.
Gently rising.
Gently falling.
Bring your attention to your lower back and to the shoulders.
Feel how the shoulders can let go as if they were setting down everything they carried.
Awareness in your arms.
Each finger breathing.
Pulsing.
A blossom opening in the light.
Now into your neck.
Heavy and still.
The eyes resting deeply in their sockets.
The forehead smooth,
Wide.
Peaceful.
Spacious.
As if touched by an inner glow.
The whole body.
From the soles of the feet to the crown of the head.
A single breathing organism.
Now let your awareness drop into your spine.
This luminous axis of your being.
Imagine your breath flowing along the spine.
From its base to the crown of your head.
Like a wave of light and peace.
Something releases more deeply.
The muscles around the vertebrae.
The spaces between thoughts.
Feel your brain.
Resting within the cradle of your skull.
Softening.
Letting go.
Thoughts dissolve.
Like mist in morning light.
Perhaps you sense warmth or spaciousness.
Perhaps only stillness.
Whatever arises.
Your nervous system is re-patterning,
Not through doing,
But through deep listening.
Each breath cradles you.
Remembers what it's like to feel safe.
Imagine your mind as a clear lake.
The surface calm.
Alive and silent.
Like clouds mirrored on the surface.
You don't need to hold them.
You don't need to chase them.
You are the lake.
From this stillness,
Clarity arises.
Emotions that appear are not obstacles,
They are energy,
Longing to be felt.
All is welcome.
Feel your whole body again.
Breathing.
Floating.
Luminous.
You are part of this great breath.
This living field that holds everything.
Each cell connecting to the fabric of life.
In this silence,
Belonging becomes tangible.
Not as an idea,
But a truth your body remembers.
Our life feeling itself.
Rest here as long as you need.
Slowly and gently begin to let your breath deepen.
Feel the contact with the ground.
The air.
The space around you.
Feel small movements.
Fingers.
Like buds unfolding their petals to the sun.
Take a deeper breath.
Feel yourself awake and soft at once.
When you are ready,
Invite your eyes to open slowly.
See the light.
The colors.
The space.
You are not coming back.
You are expanding gently into life itself.
The practice of Yoga Nidra comes to a gentle close now.
And I thank you for the gift of your presence.
