Hello and welcome.
Today's meditation and healing is called the stillness within.
This is a practice of quietening by allowing the surface of the mind and body to soften until stillness naturally appears.
Stillness is not something you force,
It's what remains when everything else settles.
Find a quiet space where you won't be interrupted for the next 10 to 15 minutes.
This time is for you.
Throughout this meditation I will be asking for consent to guide you on this journey.
Everything here is with consent.
If at any moment you do not consent or you do not wish for energy to enter your field,
The energy will simply move around you.
This is your body,
This is your life,
You always get to choose.
So if you consent,
Simply nod your head or you can say yes out loud.
Good.
Gently close down your eyes and take a slow deep breath in.
Exhale fully all the way out and again breathe in two three hold and out two three.
That's it.
Good.
Allow your breath to slow,
Allow it to soften and become effortless.
That's it.
Good.
There's nothing to do here.
There's nowhere to be but here.
Right now.
Relax.
Breathe.
Let your body arrive in this space.
Good.
We're going into the mind.
Visualize the brain space.
Now let's start to imagine a still pool of crystal clear water.
See all the rocks surrounding the pool.
The surface of the pool is calm,
Smooth and undisturbed.
Nothing moves unless it needs to.
Bring your awareness to it.
Feel what it feels like to be standing there.
What can you hear?
What can you smell?
Perhaps it feels like a quietness in your chest or spaciousness in your mind or a sense of deep rest in your body.
Take a big deep breath and let's look into the clear water of the pool.
There's no need to look deep beneath the surface.
Just seeing the stillness itself is enough.
It's mesmerizing and very calming.
Focus on your breath here and the ease.
Remember it's effortless in two three out two three.
Good.
If any unwanted thoughts or feelings arise while you are here,
I want you to imagine them like small ripples that gently fade on their own.
No attention required.
No response needed.
Just let the ripple fade away.
And breathe in.
And breathe out.
Good.
I want you to silently just say to yourself,
I am allowed to be here.
I am allowed to be still.
I do not need to move.
I do not need to prove myself.
I do not need to rush.
I am at rest.
And I am present in my own mind.
Spend a moment just allowing any unwanted thoughts or feelings to come up and just see them like small ripples and just let the ripple fade away.
And while you're here resting in this moment,
Drinking in this space,
The calmness,
The peace,
The tranquility,
I want you to let your nervous system settle into the simplicity of the stillness and know within yourself that this feels right.
You're doing so well.
Nice big deep breaths in here.
I want you to know that the stillness within you is always there.
It's always present.
And I want you to know that you can return here to this place at any time.
All you have to do is to give yourself that permission to enter your mind space.
And to sit down by the pool of crystal clear water and breathe in any thoughts or feelings that are burdening you or overwhelming to come up to the surface and see them as the ripples on the pool.
And know they don't need to be judged.
They don't need to be worked out.
They can simply be released.
That's it.
I want you to just bring your focus back to your breath.
Just feeling that breath in and noticing how effortless it is,
How relaxing it is,
How peaceful and calming.
It's freeing.
I want you to stand up from the pool and gently return yourself back into your body.
That's it.
Gently arriving.
Wiggling your fingers and your toes.
Feeling totally at peace.
So very calm.
And when you're ready,
You can open your eyes.
Take one final big breath in.
You are settled and you are still.
Good.
Well done.
