She is a Mindfulness MBSR and Yoga teacher since 2016. She has a Psychology degree from France and a MSc degree in Cognitive and Clinical Neurosciences from Goldsmiths University of London. Selin discovered the theoretical side of Mindfulness during her studies and then went on to find her own practice. During her travel in Nepal in 2014 she attended a 10-day silent Vipassana retreat and with that meditation became a daily practice that since then she was committed to. Selin continued attending retreats and trainings and completed a 200-hour MBSR Teacher Training in 2016 with Mindful Academy. To this day, she gave more than 40 MBSR courses to more than 400 people, both in Turkish and French. She deepened her practice by completing a 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2019. In 2021, she co-founded MindCare Academy and collaborated with Institute for Mindfulness-based Approaches to bring their 240-hour MBSR teacher training program to Turkey in which she was also trained. Selin is a level 2 Mindfulness Supervisor trained by the Mindfulness Network. Selin offers one-on-one counseling sessions in Turkish, French and English. She is also offering seminars and programs on mindfulness, polyvagal theory, somatic psychology and the neurobiology of the nervous system.
