A short meditation to help bring a sense of balance and harmony to the heart chakara Anahata, the fourth primary chakra, according to Hindu Yogic, Shakta and Buddhist Tantric traditions. In Sanskrit, anahata means "unhurt, unstruck, and unbeaten". Anahata Nad refers to the Vedic concept of unstruck sound. Anahata is associated with balance, calmness, and serenity.

Welcome to this meditation for our heart chakra,

Anahata.

Anahata is symbolized in imagery as a twelve petaled lotus.

Each petal represents the divine qualities of the heart.

Bliss,

Peace,

Harmony,

Love,

Understanding,

Empathy,

Clarity,

Purity,

Unity,

Compassion.

Kindness,

Forgiveness.

Often our chakras become imbalanced.

Energy becomes blocked or stagnant.

This meditation will help release any blockages,

Bring a sense of balance,

Harmony and clarity to your heart chakra,

Anahata.

Take a few moments to ensure you're comfortable.

You may choose to sit,

Stand or lie down.

It's up to you.

Comfort is so important in meditation.

So take a moment just to ensure you're comfortable.

Place your right hand in the center of your chest.

The left hand palm up,

Resting on your lap.

Softly,

Gently close your eyes.

Take ten full breaths.

In through your nose,

Out through your nose.

Ten wholesome,

Healing breaths.

Allowing your breath to return to natural flow and rhythm.

Completely automatic,

Completely spontaneous.

Trying not to change the rhythm or the flow.

As you inhale,

Visualize green light and energy radiating from your right hand into the center of your chest,

Into your heart chakra,

Anahata.

As you exhale,

Internally recite Yam,

Y-A-M.

Yam is the sound of the heart chakra,

The frequency that brings change,

Balance and harmony.

As you inhale,

Visualize green light and energy radiating from your right hand into your heart chakra.

As you exhale,

Internally recite Yam.

As you exhale,

Internally recite Yam.

As you exhale,

Internally recite Yam.

As you exhale,

Internally recite Yam.

As you exhale,

Internally recite Yam.

As you exhale,

Internally recite Yam.

Relaxing all your efforts.

Releasing your hands to your lap.

Take a few moments just to tune in,

To sense,

To feel,

To connect to your mind and body.

Congratulations,

The meditation is now complete.

this practice was tender and intimate. connecting to the anahata through my hands always leaves a warm, resonant feeling in my chest. I had a thought around love being the catalyst for the change the anahata often initiates; the idea that all is changed by love, and that we are harbingers of this love. grateful for this practice. πŸ˜ŒπŸ™πŸΎ

I like meditations that give me information about the subject. I do know about the Chakra system but it was refreshing being reminded of the name and sound of the heart Chakra. Well done. Going to save as a favorite
