Well,

Hello all you lovely insight timers out there.

I hope you are all well.

I thought I would record a short talk about a new word terminology that I've come across.

I don't know whether you're aware of it or not.

Maybe you are.

Maybe that is why you have tuned in and you are listening to this talk.

Whatever it is,

Do let me know.

So what is it?

Lemonading.

Have you heard of the term lemonading?

I certainly haven't or I hadn't.

Well,

I am now very much aware of it as I've done a little bit of research.

And the term lemonading apparently comes from that.

That's that saying,

That adage of that age old adage,

I should say,

Of when life gives you lemons,

Make lemonade.

Well,

I do like a lemon,

It has to be said.

I have a slice of lemon and ginger and apple cider vinegar in a large mug of hot water every morning.

That is really good for your overall well-being.

However,

That is not what I wanted to talk about.

I wanted to talk about lemonading.

So what is lemonading?

If you do know,

Pop some comments in the comments,

In the chat.

Do let me know.

However,

When I did the research around lemonading,

It very much sounded to me like solution focused outcome thinking,

Because lemonading is the ability to creatively reframe difficulties,

Enable you to experience outcomes in a different way.

And this is something I have been passionate about for ever and a day,

Which is where I come to the solution focused outcome thinking.

When I trained as a coach back in 2012,

This is something fundamental to coaching that I learned.

And that is to view every situation,

Every scenario as a learning opportunity to take those positives.

So rather than seeing the negativity in something that does not go your way,

It is about looking at it from a different perspective.

It is reframing it.

And this reframing,

This language that we use all the time,

It can be the thoughts,

Whatever is going on in our mind,

How we write,

How we think.

It is all to do with that reframing,

That perspective.

It is making lemonade out of lemons.

For me,

The last couple of days,

I have had a couple of bananas that have been going a little bit over.

And I have also been integrating them,

Rather than throwing the bananas,

I have been integrating them into some meals that I have been making for myself and my partner as part of our nutritional plan to do with our marathon training.

Well,

That is another story,

Let me tell you.

So anyway,

Apparently,

This lemonading phrase has been picking up a pace of late.

Obviously,

It had not come to me,

But I have only just recently discovered it.

But it is that playfulness in the age of mental well-being,

Which is obviously what Insight Timer is all about.

It is that playful attitude,

Which is what I like to think that I have always presented in all the content that I deliver here on Insight Timer.

In fact,

That actually leads me to suggest that you go and have a look at,

If you are a plus member,

My course content.

And if you are not a plus member,

It is certainly worth buying into Insight Timer,

Because you have got access to something like 20,

000 teachers.

It might even be more than that now,

I am not sure.

I have got courses cultivating positive vibes,

How to manifest your dream job,

How to deal with narcissistic relationships and reclaim your life and be happy.

Do it now.

How to live your best life using my eight mindset methodology,

Which is acceptance,

Perspective and energy,

Which very much comes into the whole concept of lemonading.

Embracing change,

Creating the life that you desire.

How to transform and manifest your ideal life in 10 days.

How to let go and flow into happiness.

And how to cultivate the perfect present by loving life in the now.

So I have got 10 courses on there and they all have this lemonading,

This solution focused outcome thinking approach,

Because I like to integrate playfulness,

Happiness,

Joy into all that I create,

Into all that I do.

So yeah,

It is about moving forward.

It is about owning every challenge,

Everything that presents itself to you.

It is about looking at things in a different way,

Because you have the opportunity to create your life in the way that you want to live.

I was talking to somebody earlier and telling them one of my favourite phrases that I curated many years ago is,

Life is an illusion of your own creation.

And you are in charge of that.

You can do that however you want to do it,

But it is you taking responsibility for yourself and your behaviour and how you have an impact in the world.

So yeah,

Let's get lemonading.

Please do get in touch,

Have a look at my profile,

Go and have a look at my course content on Insight Timer and all the other free tracks I have got on there as well.

Plenty to go at and please do let me know your thoughts.

Let's,

Let's go lemonading.

Thank you very much for listening.
