This is part of a series of ADHD Energy Balance tracks. In this meditation, your energy is imagined as ocean waves moving naturally and freely, sometimes surging with powerful intensity, other times receding softly. This visualization helps you connect with the rhythm of your energy and embrace its highs and lows without judgment. By viewing your energy like the ocean, you’ll learn to let go of the need to control its flow, trusting instead in the natural cycle of rise and rest. The music in this track is by Loborio Conti and is bilateral, designed to improve focus, reduce anxiety, and promote relaxation. For the best experience, listen with headphones

Transcript

Welcome to this series on energy balance for ADHD.

Energy balance the wave.

Allow yourself to settle down into a comfortable position.

And as you inhale tighten all the muscles of the arms,

Squeeze and hold and exhale release.

Awareness to the hands,

Inhale squeeze the hands and exhale release.

And now the legs,

Inhale squeeze the muscles of the legs and exhale release.

Sculling down the hair,

The neck,

The torso and the arms.

Tend the legs to the feet and the toes.

Take a deep breath in and a long slow breath out.

Deep breath in.

Long slow breath out.

Imagine your energy like an ocean wave.

Some waves are strong,

Rising high and powerful.

Others are gentle,

Falling back quietly.

You have no control on how the waves rise and fall.

They come and go as part of the natural rhythm of the sea.

And your energy is the same.

Sometimes you feel energized,

Riding the high of a big wave.

And other times you feel tired,

Like the wave receding into the sea.

And that's okay.

Breath in.

Breath out.

You don't need to force yourself to ride every wave at full height.

Accept the low energy moments.

Knowing the next wave will come when it's ready.

Let go of the need to control your energy and instead flow with it.

Breath in.

Breath out.

Like the waves upon the shore,

Our energy rises,

Then falls once more.

A rush of strength,

A powerful tide,

Crashing forward with nothing to hide.

There's no need to control.

There's no way to command the flow of the tide or the movement of sand.

It's natural.

It's steady.

It ebbs and it flows.

Like the rhythm of life in highs and in lows.

No need to force or rush the tide.

Let the wave carry you.

Let it decide.

In low energy,

There's struggle,

It's true.

But there's strength in knowing this too we get through.

Ride the wave,

Though it may be unclear.

Though it may be unclear.

Embrace every rise and even the fear.

Loved it thanks you - felt like I had waves washing through my brain! I've done 100s of meditations now on Insight timer and can count on one hand how many times I leave a review but hearing you asking for one to help motivate you to do other really resonated with me, so here's the encouragement to please continue weaving your magic ✨️🙏
