This is part of a series of ADHD Energy Balance tracks. In this meditation, your energy is compared to ever-changing weather patterns. Just like the weather can shift from sunny to stormy without warning, your energy levels can fluctuate in ways that may feel unpredictable. You’ll learn to view these changes with acceptance, understanding that just like the weather, your energy moves in natural cycles, and it’s okay not to always feel “sunny.” You’ll leave with a sense of comfort in letting your energy be just as it is, without judgment or pressure. The music in this track is by Loborio Conti and is bilateral to help improve focus, reduce anxiety, and promote relaxation. For the best experience, listen with headphones.

ADHD Energy Balance The Weather System Sitting comfortably and allow the body to relax.

Allow your eyes to close down as you notice the gentle rhythm of your breath.

Begin to deepen your breath.

Inhale.

Hold.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Hold.

Exhale.

Inhale.

Hold.

Exhale.

And allow your breath to return to its usual pace.

Imagine your energy is like a weather system.

Some days are bright and clear,

Full of light and warmth,

Like the sun shining on a beautiful,

Magical summer's day.

On other days,

Clouds may gather,

Rain may come.

And your energy feels lower,

Like an overcast sky.

And just like the weather that you can't control.

You can't control the shifts in your energy,

And that's okay.

Even when your energy feels cloudy or stormy.

Except it's still part of your natural rhythm.

Breath in.

Breath out.

And when your energies are low,

Take a break.

No need to push through.

Know the weather will change in its own time.

Brighter days will come.

Embrace both sunny and cloudy moments.

Breath in.

Breath out.

You are exactly where you need to be.

And allow your energy to flow.

Breath in.

Breath out.
