Everyone

This calming practice offers space to step out of self-improvement mode and simply rest as you are. Through slow breathing and gentle body awareness, you’ll allow the nervous system to soften and settle naturally. There is no right or wrong way to do this — only permission to be present. Especially supportive during moments of overwhelm, perfectionism, or emotional fatigue. Leave feeling steady, supported, and enough.

Transcript

Take a moment to get comfortable.

Let your body move into ease wherever you are.

No special posture.

No effort needed.

Allow your eyes to gently close or soften your gaze.

Notice the simple rhythm of your breathing.

Nothing to change,

Just noticing.

The air moving in and out.

Your body already knows how to breathe.

You don't have to manage it.

And for these next few minutes,

There's nothing you need to improve.

Nothing you need to solve.

Nothing you need to fix.

There is no wrong way to do this.

Whatever you notice is welcome.

Feel the weight of your body where you're supported.

Be that a chair,

The floor,

Or a bed.

Let gravity hold you.

If tension is there,

Let it be there.

If restlessness is there,

Let that be there too.

You don't have to change your experience.

Just make space for it.

Breathing in.

Breathing out.

Imagine setting down a heavy bag you've been carrying.

All the shoulds,

All the not enoughs.

Just for now,

Set them down.

Nothing to prove,

Nothing to earn.

Just being here is enough.

Let your shoulders soften.

Jaw unclench.

Hands rest.

See what happens when you stop trying.

Notice how the body naturally settles on its own.

Rest here for a few breaths in simple permission.

And when you're ready to return,

Begin to deepen your breath.

Small movements in your fingers.

And your toes.

And whenever it feels right,

Gently open your eyes.

Carry this with you.

There was never anything to fix.

Only something to care for.
