Today's practice is specially designed for when you need a lift,
An energizing force within your day.
So since this is an energizing practice,
Let's sit up.
Get your back nice and straight.
You could be cross-legged or seated.
Just be comfortable and erect.
Let's get ourselves grounded.
Let's just dial in on our breath as it comes in naturally.
Notice how your breath rises as you breathe in,
And maybe feel the glow as the oxygen comes into your bloodstream,
Giving you energy,
Giving you light.
Maybe you feel a little bit of tingling on your face or in your fingertips.
Feel the energy that's coming in with every in-breath.
In our practice today,
We're first going to focus on the in-breath and connect with its healing energy.
So on your in-breath,
I want you to think the word healing.
So in,
Healing.
As you breathe out,
Feel that healing permeate your body.
And breathe in,
Healing.
Just carry on in your own time.
Let the healing smooth away all the little snags that have built up over the course of your day.
Now that you're all filled up and whole,
Let's send that wonder out into the world.
We'll be adding to healing on your in-breath by thinking light on the out-breath.
As you think light,
Imagine you're sending that wonderful healing energy out towards everything around you.
So when you're ready,
Let's inhale,
Healing.
And exhale,
Light.
Inhale,
Healing.
And exhale,
Light.
Just carry on at your own rhythm.
If you find your mind wandering,
Just invite it back and recommit to breathing in healing and giving out light.
So now we're going to come back into the room.
You can let your breathing become natural,
Just let it happen all on its own.
Notice how you feel in your body.
Feel how that energy has permeated deep within you,
Warming you and awakening your potential.
And now just take that energy and let it fill every little thing you send out into the world as you go onwards into your day.
