Welcome.
Today we'll be focusing on forgiveness.
Forgiveness is not necessarily for the person we had difficulties with,
But it's really a gift to ourself.
So take this moment to find yourself in a comfortable seated position,
Maybe sitting in a chair or maybe on the floor with your hips elevated,
Maybe against the wall to give yourself some support.
Really feel your sitting bones rooted down.
If your feet are touching the floor,
Feel the energy connecting you to the earth below,
Making your way up your spine,
Lengthening with your shoulder blades,
Moving down and back,
Releasing any tension through your arms and maybe your palms are face down on your legs if you're looking for more grounding or maybe your palms are facing up towards the sky above if you're looking to gain a little bit more clarity,
Insight or energy.
As you reach the crown of your head up towards the sky,
Feel that connection with the divine above,
Rooted down as you reach all the way up,
Feeling expansive through your body,
Breathing deeply in through your nose,
Feeling your belly full of air,
Slowing down and deepening your breath,
Slowly exhaling through your nose,
Filling up,
Inhale,
Fill up,
Holding at the top,
Exhale through your mouth this time.
Let it go.
Let's go again.
Fill up deeply,
Hold it,
Maybe sip in a little bit more air,
Hold,
Open your mouth,
Sigh it out.
Let's go one more time,
Inhale,
Fill up,
Hold it,
Sip in a little bit more,
Hold,
Open your mouth,
Let it go.
Beautiful breath,
Gently closing your mouth,
Letting your shoulders release as you slow down your breath even more in through your nose,
Filling up and then out through your nose,
Letting go.
Letting your breath guide you through this practice,
Always reminding yourself that you are not alone,
Your breath is always here to carry you,
To hold you,
You are never alone in your pain.
Today's session we're going to be focusing on maybe somebody that you might be having a challenging moment with,
Maybe somebody that you're having some conflict,
Misunderstandings,
Somewhat of a troubled relationship,
Which is inevitable at some point in our lives,
Right?
Take that moment right now to picture that human in light,
See that white light,
White glowing light surrounding them,
Holding them in that purity.
Again,
Soften through your face,
Soften through your jaw,
Let your shoulders go,
Connect back to your breath.
Taking a moment as you witness them in light and maybe taking some time to picture them as a child,
That little person before all the heaviness of life took over.
Picture that innocence in that child,
Picture that pure love that just radiates throughout that body and the heart and the expressions,
The happiness.
We were all that young,
Innocent child at one point,
That child that's just full of love and presence,
No filter,
No anger and just living life in this present moment,
Big smile,
Focusing back on that light,
That pure white,
Bright light energy,
And still allowing your breath to flow in and out,
And then maybe coming back to picturing this person as an adult,
In adult form,
And repeating these four lines.
I'm sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.
Again,
Soften,
Find that light and feel that light radiating around you as you move through your forgiveness prayer.
I'm sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.
Find your breath,
Slowly in and out,
Letting your breath hold you,
Slowly in and out,
Soften through your face,
Release through your jaw,
Finding that bright light,
Feeling the warmth,
I'm sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.
And then breathing deeply back into yourself,
Feeling that warmth,
That light around you,
Feeling that support,
Feeling that light,
Pure energy holding you and everything you've been carrying.
Picture yourself almost as if you're looking at yourself from a distance in that glorious,
Bright,
White,
Pure light and looking at yourself.
I'm sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.
Find that breath,
Slowly inhaling and exhaling,
Feel that warmth,
That light surrounding you and healing you through every breath,
I'm sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
I love you.
Letting your shoulders go,
Soften through your jaw,
Find your breath,
Picturing yourself still in that beautiful,
Glorious,
Heavenly white light,
I'm sorry.
Please forgive me.
I love you.
Feeling that pure love and energy for yourself,
Minding yourself that you are never alone and allowing yourself to forgive all parts,
To love all parts,
That you are worthy of love,
You are worthy to be taken care of,
You are worthy to feel safe and healthy and happy.
I love you.
Thank you so much for showing up for yourself today.
Taking your time,
Maybe staying here,
Connecting with your breath,
Connecting with your light for as long as you want and whenever the time feels right,
Following your intuition,
Take your time slowly bringing yourself back into your body,
Slowly coming back to this room,
Giving yourself thanks,
Giving yourself thanks for showing up here today.
Every little part helps.
Just keep showing up.
