Welcome to the Bodhisoul Guided Meditation Sessions.
Thank you for joining me for this guided meditation intended to help you relax into the present moment and find an immediate sense of calm.
Let's begin by finding a comfortable position either seated or lying down.
One where you're alert yet relaxed.
Once you're comfortable gently close your eyes and bring your awareness to your breath.
Take a few deep inhalations in through your nose and exhalations out through your mouth.
Again,
Inhaling deeply through your nose and exhaling out through your mouth.
Now allow your breath to come back to its natural rhythm.
Never forcing,
Just flowing at your own pace.
Imagine as you inhale you're inviting a sense of calm and as you exhale you're letting go of any worry or tension.
Notice the feeling of the air as it enters and leaves your nostrils.
Do you notice the rise and fall of your belly and your chest as you breathe?
Feel your body as it sinks down deeper into the support beneath you.
Allow your shoulders to soften and relax down away from your ears and feel the tension relax and release from your jaw and your brow.
As you breathe,
Allow your breath to help you relax and soften any tension in your body or mind.
If your mind wanders,
Gently bring your awareness back to your breath and this sense of inner calm.
Start to bring your awareness back to your surroundings now.
To finish,
Let's take one last deep inhalation and exhalation.
When you're ready,
Gently open your eyes.
