Welcome to the Bodhi Soul Guided Meditation Sessions.
This meditation is part of the Mindful Moment Series for those who are either short on time or just feeling too overwhelmed to commit to a longer practice.
These short meditations provide a way for you to pause and engage your body's relaxation response.
This can help to lower your stress and anxiety levels and lead to a more calm and balanced you.
So let's begin by finding a comfortable position either seated or lying down.
One where you're alert yet relaxed.
When you're ready,
Close your eyes and bring your awareness to your breath.
Start by taking a deep inhalation in through your nose and exhalation out through your mouth.
Again,
Inhaling deeply through your nose and exhaling out through your mouth.
Now allow your breath to come back to its natural rhythm.
Inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your nose.
Not forcing,
Just simply breathing.
Feel yourself drop into this present moment with each breath.
As you inhale,
Feel a sense of calm entering your body and as you exhale,
Consciously release any tension and stress.
Inhaling relaxation,
Exhaling releasing tension.
To finish,
Take one last deep inhalation and exhalation.
And when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes and get back to your day or evening.
